I have held passes from this service since their inception and generally found them to offer good value, even with occasional use. This year, before activation, I discovered I needed a knee replacement and would miss the entire season. I reached out to the support team to see if my pass could be rolled over to the next season, but was informed, "there is nothing we can do - you should have purchased insurance." It's frustrating because they could have offered a solution if they were more customer-focused. I won't be renewing my pass with them again.
Please halt the sale of passes after December 12th. There's no snow up there! I want to purchase a pass for the remaining four months! After six years with a certain pass, we've chosen to switch to a different ski resort. It's closer to the city, has less traffic, is less crowded, and since we don't dine at the lodges of other resorts, we will save a considerable amount of money. Goodbye to the previous pass!
They stopped selling passes on December 12th, and there’s no snow! I want to buy a pass for the remaining four months! After six years with this pass, we've decided to switch to a closer ski resort. It’s less congested, easier to reach, and we don't dine at the lodges of other resorts, so we’ll save a lot of money. Goodbye!
I’m sharing this to alert others. The service refused to refund an unused digital pass bought by mistake. No physical product was received, no service was used, and the season hasn’t started, yet they kept the full payment. Their website lumps all passes together, promoting access to various destinations, but it’s misleading since the cheaper ones exclude major mountains until after checkout. After realizing the error, I called to request a one-time refund, but they denied it. This no-refund policy for unused digital items feels predatory. A reputable company would simply reverse the transaction. If you’re thinking of getting this pass, be very cautious; a single mistake can cost you.
This critical review isn't just about overcrowding ski resorts; it’s about the misleading advertising tied to their 'Friends & Family' passes. The marketing claims 'Discounts up to 50%' and states, 'Share now and your crew can use their tickets anytime until the end of this season.' This is intentionally misleading. Friends or family must commit to a specific day in October without the option to change. It's absurd. Essentially, the company wants upfront payment for lift passes long before skiing, with no consideration for unforeseen circumstances. It's disappointing to see such deceptive practices becoming the norm. I doubt I’ll purchase a pass next year.
I bought a 4-day pass for the season and went snowboarding in Utah, where I visited two resorts. On my last day, I found my pass was invalid because they counted each resort visit as two uses, which I wasn’t informed of. There was no notice about this on the pass or website. When I contacted customer service, they offered no solutions and only suggested I buy a new season pass. This experience was incredibly disappointing. Transparency about resort access is crucial, and customer care needs improvement. I won’t be returning.
I would rate this a zero if possible. I’m shocked by the lack of customer service. I bought a base pass in late November with plans to ski, but after a postal strike, I learned I could have had it printed at the resort. When I reached out for support after not receiving it, I was ignored for a month. I requested to defer my pass since I hadn’t used any days, but the response was unhelpful, directing me to a customer service number. They claimed I was informed about printing options, but I never received such information. It’s frustrating to feel misled.
I had a terrifying experience at the resort when my son had to be airlifted for emergency surgery after a fall. The jump should not have been open given the snow conditions. I reached out to the company to push his pass to next year, but they insisted I should have purchased extra insurance. I just wanted to defer the pass, not get a refund. They could easily sell another pass. It’s disheartening to see the focus on profits over safety, especially after years of spending money on passes. I won’t be buying from them again.
