Compensation Claim for Stolen Checked Baggage (€900 Loss)

I traveled from Firenze Villa Costanza to Trieste on 12 August 2025 on bus 540, scheduled at 15:50 (departed at 18:20). Upon arrival in Trieste, I found that my checked luggage was stolen. A fellow passenger and her father witnessed a man removing it during a stop. The bus driver later admitted the luggage compartment had been left open. I filed a police report, and the bag is easily identifiable due to unique stickers. Total estimated value: €900.I’ve tried submitting this through the lost item form 6 times, but it failed each time. Following numerous phone calls with FlixBus, I was finally able to submit the lost item form. I have since received the following response: "Sorry, but we could not find your item. It can be that it was taken by another passenger or handed over to a public lost & found office. We ask for your understanding.". My bag was stolen and I have proves. I ask for a refund of my stolen items. I would like to formally report that my bag was stolen during my journey, and I have evidence supporting this claim. Considering the circumstances and the value of the stolen belongings, I requested full reimbursement for my losses. Only after publicly disclosing the situation did I receive a response from FlixBus offering €200 in compensation—an amount corresponding to merely 22% of the total damages suffered.

Very bad staff in the bus. Worst person ever

Very bad staff in the bus. He was racist to asian passengers and the driver assistent was a tyran to the passngers. Very bad experience. Italien flixbus is the worst people I ever met.

Pleasant experience

We travel from Copenhagen to Malmo, so It was a quite short trip, the buses were on time and everything went well. To find the bus stop was easy thanks to the map link included into the emails we received. The travel itself was comfortable and the bus pretty cleaned. The onboard procedure was quick and simple.

FlixBus in Napoli:I was 2 minutes late because the entire city was at a standstill due to traffic, and I was stuck for 40 minutes. I ran to the bus stop to inform them that we were 3 minutes late, but the ticket man simply said, 'No, we don’t wait.' I asked if they could please wait, but they refused, telling me I would need to buy a new ticket. It's frustrating because when they’re late, we’re expected to wait, but they won’t show the same consideration for passengers."I understand that check ticket is his best goal of life, but if we can wait why can you not?! Very rude and unprofessional. It was the bus from Napoli to Bari at 2.30pm today. It I was the company I wouldn’t want someone so unprofessional to work for me. Get rid of that parasite
