Good booking experience

In answer to some recent negative comments, I would counter these. I use these vouchers to book hotels I want after I've selected the hotel. I decide on where I want to go. Get a voucher ready to be purchased, phone up the hotel, confirm the date, advise that I'm planning to use a BaG voucher. If the answer is n then I don't buy the voucher and try an alternative. If the answer is yes then I buy the voucher and request the free e-voucher and once the e-mail comes in I quote the reference number. Process seems to work OK but would be better if I could just do both parts on one website.

Smartbox for Hotels is a major rip off.

Smartbox option for Hotels is a major rip off. You can't book a hotel without calling them first and of course the hotel will not be available for the dates you want. Read other reviews about hotel experience.

Smartbox= Fraud

Smartbox is overpriced. You only pay for more and with less quality choosing Smartbox- I really dont get the benefit of using this terrible service- its more like a Dumbox.

Wording inside the Smart Box could be clearer

I have bought the Smart Birthday Box as a gift for my sister, delivery service great and on time. My husband and I had a smartbox as a Christmas gift and did not understand how it worked, Being so nicely boxed and lots of choices we thought we could use for the whole year! We wasted ours on a meal we could have got much cheaper than the voucher realising only after it was only for one thing, we were extremely disappointed but did not tell my daughter who had gifted us. I loved the idea but I will make sure my sister understands although given lots of choices she can only pick one, so choose wisely. Maybe the wording could be improved on the smart box if given as a gift.

Great experience

My partner and I really enjoyed the experience we were brought and thought it would make a lovely gift idea for my Daughter and her Fiance when they get married. The delivery was very g quick and I know they will enjoy picking out what suits them best.

Poor aftercare

The experience hasn't been used yet but after purchasing I wanted to exchange it, a procedure which is it made out to be simple. It wasn't simple, it was complicated and after numerous emails and phonecalls I was told not all experiences are eligible for exchange. I've used Buy a Gift on several occasions but this has put me off of using them in the future.
