Review Time
I ordered mostly pre cooked meals. Portions were smaller than expected, and the ready to cook meals are better value. The food itself is fine for convenience, but it is not cheap.The kit return pickup service is unacceptable.I live in a condo and Fresh Prep provides no way for drivers to communicate with customers. You only receive a link saying the driver is five minutes away. There is no call, text, or buzz.I have repeatedly asked customer support to have the driver notify me so I can coordinate pickup while working. This has never happened. The driver waits about two minutes and leaves.I have been trying to return my kits for three weeks without success. This system clearly does not work for condo residents
Been a loyal customer for 2 years, the $5 shipping was the nail for us after they hiked meal costs. We are already paying more than necessary for basic dishes and they have gotten stingy with portions and often ingredients are missed or not fresh. The good recipes now have added cost and the other recipes are not appealing, they constantly partner with restaurants and those weeks make the rest of the menu bland so you will pay more for the sponsored meal, we just don't care about their marketing tactics. It made sense when we saved on groceries or takeout but now it is on par. Such a shame, especially as we like to support Canadian and love the reusable container system. Wish they would focus on what they started with, and go back to a tasty menu where our only issue was deciding what to order.
I would like to cancel my subscription but I couldn't find the place to do it on your website. Reason I like to do that is the last time I ordered total of six meals for a week but only 2 meals came on the box with an email with an explanation that, of course, do not feed my family. I appreciate the email but I need a reliable service. This is unfortunate but I insist, I like to cancel my subscription. For now is only "suspended" but I like full cancelation. Thanks .
