Review Time
The things that I didn't like is when I ask you for the first time to cancel my membership, and you never did so instead you keep debiting my money for nothing, I don't remember buying anything from you guy's, so I beg with you Cancel that Membership I don't want it anymore. This Debting it started last year so please can I have my Refund money.
Since writing my review gadgetgeek reached out to me to resolve this issue fully. As is stated in original review I did receive a refund in the end it just took longer than necessary due to confusion on when the money was originally taken. I was happy to receive my refund and with then reaching out to me again I will be made completely whole which I do appreciate. Their support team do listen and a resolution is possible if you have an issue when you take the time to contact them. Due to this I'm adjusting my original star rating from one to 4 as they have been professional and resolved this matter fully.Charging subscription without one being requested is underhanded. It then took far too long to resolve the issue. The original interaction was me purchasing something from an ad on social media which was only £4 and some pence which I never received. I was told I would NOT get that money back and was even told the thing I ordered wasn’t something they had! I was more concerned that they took €36 on 3rd of Jan and tried again on the 16th!! I spoke to multiple people via live chat and 30+emails between support to get my money refunded. They did manage to stop the second charge on the day it was requested but it took until the 12th of February to refund the 1st. I had never visited the website until I contacted support via live chat. So beware of hidden subscriptions when you think you are buying something. They proved and agreed I had no account yet kept the original small amount of money stating it was in T&Cs that I wouldn't have been aware of since I had no account. They need to do better at being transparent and up front. As for myself I will be extra vigilant when buying online
I want to cancel my subscription as I don't think it is right that you will not close it till the 19.01.2024 as I did not now it was a subscription thay ask for you email as thay know you can not give it to them as not allowed to put email address on here what a joke do not buy from them run
I was called directly by Violet who resolved this issue very quickly - thank you for the prompt action and customer service. This company advertised on Facebook wirh Lego - I should have realised it was too good to be true …. I paid for the Lego (which I have not received) then noticed there was a marker on my bank for a payment. I found emails in my inbox stating I had signed up to a membership which takes money out of my account monthly and creates credits which expire in 90 days if you don’t use them - I assume the membership is hidden in their terms and conditions … I cancelled my membership then later received an email to say that another payment was coming out - I contacted them via chat to check this had been cancelled - they asked for my email then ceased to respond to my messages - I had to create an account in order to cancel it …. Make sure to cancel with your bank and read the terms and conditions - a scam to suckers like me who gloss over them! Be careful!
This is scam trying to pretend it is legitimate business. Their business model is to deceive people who think they are ordering discounted product advertised on Facebook. What is actually happening is they are subscribing to membership promising discounted purchases, not the product itself.Blatant deliberate deception, I would consider it fraudulent. They charge your card with small amount of money ("promotion") to prevent people noticing this will be more serious and regular expense. This promotion lasts 3 days and upgrades to full expensive subscription afterwards. All this is not clearly communicated and is as deceptive as it gets.Cancellation steps as advertised do not work. Only option is contacting them via chat, where they communicate in English (while their website is translated and attracts people from other countries). Finally, when they cancel, there is 2 weeks cancellation period which means you will still be charged full amount of expensive subscription payment. This company preys on people which can be easily deceived by unclear and complicated messaging (e.g. older people) and hopes they will not notice regular charge on their card. I believe there must be many of such unlucky people.Avoid. Cancel your card immediately when you fall for this. Report to authorities (if you know of any which can help).
Facebook scam. Advertises a heavily discounted product for purchase, but in fact signs you up for a subscription. 'Shopping' website offers a variety of cheap products to spend resulting credits on.When asking to cancel and refund, they claim that terms and conditions state that there are no refunds available.
