Review Time
My venue bought a Behringer stagebox, delivery was fine, product was working. At some point my 48V stopped working. I got a repair scheduled, sent it out, it was within expectations.After we week or so we got a message it was done and i picked it up. Nowhere it was noted what was done with it and i wanted to know. Called costumer support and heard they replaced some capacitors. All good! (CS person was really nice by the way!)However, i had put some tape on the inside to double check if they actually did something with the unit. Our 48V issue was kind of weird and intermittand. They did not even open the unit.By not at all my suprise in the middle of the next show the 48V started having issues again. Had to send it back, result to renting gear and ended up getting it replaced by costumer service.This little joke of theirs cost me about 4/500 euros that could have been put in halve if they actually opened it the first time.Not cool Gear4Music.Side note though: Altough waiting times on the phone were long, the people that did pick up were nice and helpfull and really went an extra step to help me here, thats why 2 stars, not 1.
I ordered a €600+ euro record player through gear4music. It was delivered broken. The player couldn't keep its RPM so I returned it for my money back. The site states that it's very easy to get your money back when you return a product. I'm waiting for more than 2 weeks now. I didn't get any confirmation that my product was returned. Had to inquire with UPS myself to make sure that the package was delivered back to York. The order still isn't updated on the website. After a week, I called with the service desk and they promised me that the money was on its way. I called again today, and got the same message? It's a lot of money and I am starting to feel scammed. Please just return my money! No excuses!Update: despite promising me that the money was wired, they now sent me an e-mail that due to technical difficulties the money wasn’t wired. I have to wait for 3-5 more days…Update: Money is finally transfered after 2 weeks.
Ordered a product here, wich had to come from the UK, so i selected DHL express delivery.At first i recieved an email with the delivery date saying tomorrow. But after waiting a few hours DHL raised this to days later. In the tracker they kept showing me that the sending information was recieved but the actual product itself not.After seeing this i contacted the helpdesk of Gear4music wich immediately took this very seriously. The person on the phone said she would give me an update asap. Later that day i recieved an email telling me they were investigating this, and a day later the same woman called me to tell me i will recieve back my extra paid money for the express delivery because they didn't manage to deliver on time. Wich was in my opinion, DHL's fault.So a big thanks for the quick and adequate support. This company seem to really care about a happy costumer.
I got great feedback on the availability of the product (was in backorder). When it was available it was shipped quickly and well packaged.All custom duties and import from UK (to NL) is handled by Gear4Music so you don't have to be afraid of any additional costs.I will buy again at this shop.
I paid £7 extra for fast delivery and on the day of delivery all I get from the carrier which is DPD was we have an unexpected issue. That’s all the sms messaged and emailed me. I’m not saying it’s gear4musics fault but from what I’ve read DPD are one of the worse for delivering parcels. They have not given me any more information about my parcel and or won’t. It’s ridiculous. And when I tried to get a hold of them all they said was when it’s on its way I’ll get an e-mail no indication to when it’s due or what the “unexpected issue” was. After reading all these reviews I clearly have been mugged right off. If you want to keep your money in your bank account AVOID AVOID AND AGAIN AVOID!
