Unacceptable Wait Time and Lack of Transparency with Gear4Music.nl’s USB OrderAbsolutely avoid ordering from them if you need a USB key quickly and appreciate clear communication!Here's why my experience was terrible:* Uninformed 3-Week Wait: I placed an order for a single USB key on the Dutch website, with no indication it would take 3 weeks to arrive. The misleading email promised delivery by 31/05/24, which was still an unreasonable wait for a single item. Nowhere on the website did it state the USB key wouldn't be shipped from within the Netherlands. This crucial information could have helped me avoid the long wait.* Forced to Wait: The lack of a clear cancellation option left me stuck waiting for the incredibly slow delivery.* No Tracking: The chosen "delivery option" (which I believe was misrepresented) offered no tracking information, leaving me completely in the dark about the status of my order.* Slow Refund: After finally waiting 3 weeks, they agreed to a refund, but it can take an additional 5 days to receive my money!This entire experience was frustrating and unacceptable. Look elsewhere if you value clear communication and prompt service.
I placed an order which was supposed to arrive 3 or 4 business days later.Their selected courier - DPD - apparently messed it up and after half a dozen 'There's a delay with your parcel at our sortation facility' they sent it back to Gear4music, without any reason why.I ordered for quite some money from Gear4music last couple of months but the customer service apparently didn't care.So I asked for an explanation / compensation, got none.Instead of making it an express delivery (and let DPD pay for that as it was their mistake), I got a delivery estimate for another 2 weeks.So I cancelled the order and requested for my money back.I had to check myself if it was done, I didn't get any update about the status.They could have had a returning customer who buys regularly but apparently chose not to.I'll give 2 stars because previous orders went better.But chances are very slim I'll order from them again.
Warning to all owners of valuable musically equipment think of selling/ trading steer clear of cowboys. Recently had Fender twin amplifier damaged beyond repair by their 'safe and reliable collection service' for details and photos contact. They refuse any liability?
Great overall experienceGood UX on the website and follow-up emails. Prompt delivery right on time!I am super happy with those amazing Tannoy speakers. Very clear in the middle/upper range, perfect for vocals. Dynamic and deep bass. I've plugged them to my tv with a Denon mini amp and they deliver clear and deep sound in any scene. LOUD!
