Claims Unlimited use of Ai conversational agent but stopped chat after 2 messages saying limit reached. The button still continues to claim UNLIMITED USE when you hover over it. Cant get any stupider than not being able to describe your services. Will continue to use Claude exclusively on the paid plan.
I subscribed to Genspark expecting a professional AI tool that could reliably follow specific instructions.
Within just a few hours, it became clear the platform is not usable for real work.
The system repeatedly failed on extremely basic tasks such as left-justifying a column, preserving existing text while making small layout changes, removing a single element, or keeping structure intact while adjusting placement.
These were not complex workflows.
Despite giving very explicit, step-by-step instructions, the tool consistently:
• Ignored alignment requests
• Changed content I asked to keep
• Added elements I asked to remove
• Duplicated logos
• Returned incomplete or broken layouts
• Required multiple retries for the same task
• Consumed credits even when outputs were clearly unusable
Instead of saving time, I spent hours correcting the AI and re-explaining simple requirements.
Credits were drained while the platform failed to produce usable results.
What’s most frustrating is that Genspark markets itself as an autonomous agent capable of handling complex workflows across design, docs, and layouts.
In practice, it cannot execute basic instructions with precision.
I canceled within hours because it created more work than it solved.
I’ve requested a refund.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this product to anyone using it for professional or operational work.
Hands down the best AI software I’ve used. Given the same requirements, Genspark consistently outperforms other AI tools, delivering more accurate results and a noticeably smoother overall experience.
I am an Annual Subscriber, and I strongly warn everyone: DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD.Like many other 1-star reviews here, my experience confirms that Genspark operates with predatory and fraudulent billing practices.1. The "Billing Loop" Scam: My subscription cycle just renewed today with 10,000 credits. In less than 30 minutes, their system drained 2,000 credits (20% of my monthly allowance) while failing to generate a single usable podcast. The AI gets stuck in a loop, admits failure, yet the billing system charges you for every failed "retry" automatically.2. Predatory Policy: You pay for the "attempt," not the result. If their AI hallucinates or fails to meet length requirements (e.g., generating 10 mins when you asked for 15), you still pay full price. This is theft disguised as a service.3. Zero Support: I have sent multiple emails and support tickets regarding this credit theft. They are completely unresponsive. They take your annual fee and then ghost you when their product breaks. Conclusion: This is not a legitimate SaaS tool; it is a credit-draining trap. The 1.7-star rating exists for a reason. I have initiated a chargeback with my bank and reported them to Stripe for billing fraud.Stay away.
(en français plus bas) : An excellent app, but terrible customer service: two weeks after purchasing a 2026 annual subscription and notifying Genspark's feedback and support addresses that I was unable to access it (ref : 302c6bf7-2c4e-47bd-9c66-c3e4587bd670) , I received no response, just contemptuous silence.Thank you, GensparkTeam!Une excellente application, mais un service client déplorable : 2 semaines après avoir acheté un abonnement annuel 2026 et notifié l'impossibilité d'accès sur les adresses feedbak et support de Genspark, aucune réponse, juste un méprisant silence.Merci GensparkTeam!
Hello,I am submitting this message as a formal complaint regarding the use of your service. My service credits (US) were fully charged while the platform remained non-functional due to repeated bugs and system errors over a period of five (5) consecutive days.During this time, no usable or operational application was delivered, despite the continuous consumption of credits.Charging credits for a service that is not operational constitutes a failure to deliver the service as advertised and may qualify as an unfair or misleading business practice under applicable U.S. consumer protection standards.I hereby request:a refund or reinstatement of the consumed credits, oran equivalent remedial commercial solution. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will consider further steps, including public reporting and payment dispute procedures. Please confirm how you intend to resolve this issue.Sincerely, christine
