Lovely relaxing break in an idyllic location was just too short. We stayed in the Barn which was great for the 4 of us and our dog. Well appointed and plenty of room. The farm is really well located and has some fantastic views over the Welsh countryside. We hope to return but for a bit longer next time.
We have just returned from a lovely relaxing week in The Barn at Geufron Farm. The building itself is beautiful with exposed beams, the living/kitchen space feels particularly spacious with the double height ceiling. The kitchen is very well equipped and the lounge area comfortable and cosy. The weather was particularly wet during our stay but there is a lovely outside seating area with fabulous views across the mountains and down to the sea at Tywyn for drier days. It was lovely to see the smoke and hear the sound of the Talyllyn steam train whistling on the opposite side of the valley each day. Our dog Oscar loved being able to run freely in the ‘dog field’ just a minutes walk away, so we’d highly recommend this place to anyone with dogs.
Geufron Farm is in a stunning part of Wales, we stayed in The Cowshed which more than met our expectations. We and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful welcome pack provided. We would definitely recommend a holiday here and hope to return.
Brilliant organised walking weekend at Geufron Farm. We arrived to the wonderful location to a warm welcome with comfortable and cozy accommodation. The first evening involved a walk up the hill on site to admire a stunning sunset and moonrise before having a fabulous pub tea delivered and enjoying marshmallows around the fire pit. Saturdays main walk was stunning and exactly on point for our group, including finding an area of Snowdonia that we had not experienced. Saturday evening’s pub visit was great and Sundays beach walk and crazy golf tournament were a prelude to more delicious food (Sunday roast with all the trimmings) delivered back at the accommodation. A leisurely afternoon evening and we were fortunate to be staying Sunday night meaning we could enjoy the log fire and relax before setting off reluctantly for home on Monday morning. The total package was brilliant from start to end and I would definitely recommend to anyone especially if you like walking and Snowdonia but don’t want to be trampled by the crowds around Snowdon.
Just back from a 4 day break at the barn, Geufron Farm which happened by default and it has been great.The cottage was lovely, clean, with everything we needed and well thought out, netflix and comfy sofas a bonus too. Nice to sit out with a coffee or whisky on the decked area looking at the magnificent views.The secure exercise field was a real bonus for our boxers, Ruby and Flint who also enjoyed the dog friendly beach at Tywyn.Well done to Dean and Hannah for creating a wonderful home from home holiday cottages. Just returned home after a 3 night break in The Barn for my 50th birthday. What a fabulous time we had. The Barn was just perfect in every way for a chilled and celebratory weekend for the 4 of us plus our golden retriever Ruby. It had everything we needed! The scenery from the decking area is breathtaking. A lovely welcome of a card, balloon and cake was really appreciated! Well done Dean and Hannah…it’s 10/10 from us 5 and we’ll definitely be back again!
Myself and my friends chose Geufron farm to stay for a trip to southern Snowdonia after a long period of not being able to see each other together due to COVID. We had such a lovely time, the pool was great for a relaxing dip in the mornings and the facilities were lovely and the whole vibe was so cosy. There were plenty of walks to do around the area and we had a nice trip into Tywyn. The hosts were lovely and great with keeping in touch and made everything so easy and were accommodating.
Just back from a glorious sunny weekend at The Cowshed. We loved it so much and wished we had booked to stay longer! The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Loved the location, near to beautiful beaches and lots of places to explore. Brilliant to get such helpful pre-arrival information and we loved our Sunday dinner delivery that we ate outside looking at the stunning view. Thank you - we will definitely be booking again.
The cottage was stunning! It was amazingly equipped, with there being an Alexa, to all the cooking utensils you need. It’s such a homely place, with the little touches meaning a lot - fudge left, tea bags, coffee sachets, beautiful hand wash, moisturisers and shower gels. NOW THE VIEW 😍😍!! I woke up in shock everyday at the utter beauty of the view in front of me.
