Review Time
What a joke company.Reading through all the positive reviews should tell you easily the sign that they are mostly fake, even the recent comments are not only that they are a POSITIVE REVIEW, but they are also self-deprecating themselves in their own reviews. Blaming their own actions for their application process hiccups, what a joke.A problem exists only when the system allows it to happen, and that is just the case of how goodstack, from their departure from Percent until they rebrand to Goodstack, nothing have changed in their system and how they manage their operations, it’s all only their name is changed. And there is no point in leaving a good constructive feedback as it’s highly unlikely to be heard or implemented.I guess it’s just Goodstack learning from their mistake as Percent that forces them to keep adding some fake reviews every once in a while so that they can be seen as a good brand, other than that all the same experience that’s happened in percent all same experience with goodstack.
Slow and lack of transparency.First of all, forget what you all know about basic customer support. Goodstack is designed to bring pain in your application process so you’d give up your dream of getting that free technology offer.Getting rejected for your first time? They will send you a vague email with no clear direction on what to do next. In this phase alone you could have already wasted 24-96 hours of your time. And then you go to their support page and entered all of the information they ask there in hope of getting clarity of your rejected application. But wait, you’re gonna need to wait again another 24-96 hours. And a staff would reach out to you playing all dumb with a template email saying a bunch of nonsense, completely ignoring your entered information and uploaded documents that you gave them from their support page, this would definitely set you back another 24-96 hours. And after a bunch of back and forth from clueless support staff, they would finally say that they will review your [claim] and will ask that you wait again for approximately 72 hours. After all the hassle, if you’re approved, you’d be asked to wait another 48 hours before you can even register on their site again, and if you’re rejected, even after all the documents that they asked for and not sure what’s the point of them all if you’re still rejected anyway, they will still won’t tell you why you’re rejected, just another template email saying “sorry, after much consideration”. They won’t say whether the review fails on recognizing the nonprofit or our association with our nonprofit. No, they will keep it to themselves. And after all that time and energy you spent, you’re just gonna give up. That’s how goodstack works, that’s why all the positive reviews keep talking about how fast the process is because that’s what they want you to think about.
The account verification can be a bit of a challenge since it takes three days and you have to look through different articles to find the link where you can submit a request to reevaluate your rejected application. But we understand this step is necessary so they can ensure that only eligible nonprofits will qualify and many others will benefit from this.
Goodstack has done its utmost to help our company register as a nonprofit organization, enabling us to receive support from a wide range of donors. Thanks to their efforts, we are now enjoying various benefits and can contribute to our community more effectively. We are truly grateful.
I am the corporate secretary of a nonprofit and applied through Google Nonprofits for nonprofit designation and access. Our nonprofit designation was approved fairly quickly by Goodstack, however, I was taken through a lengthy process of document request only to be denied access as an authorized person for the nonprofit. I was told that my affiliation with the nonprofit could not be verified despite the facts that my name was on the Articles of Association; that the Executive Director wrote a letter of verification; and that I was required to submit our Bylaws, 501(c)3 letter, Articles of Association, and bank statement. Despite providing all requested information and going through the appeals process twice, access was ultimately denied. How can our nonprofit utilize our nonprofit designation without an authorized user? This process has taken me three weeks for ultimate denial. I was approved within one day with no requests for further documents by Techsoup. Google should not have changed providers from Techsoup to Goodstack as it is apparent from negative reviews that legitimate organizations are being denied access with much runaround, no rationale, and no ability to cure deficiencies.
