I have a shipment going to Australia. Lindy communicated very clearly what was expected of me to satisfy the Australian customs. The packers, Sanelle and Masoe, were very experienced. Sanelle took charge and listened to what I expected as I have had many overseas relocations. They were friendly, polite, efficient and I would definitely use Grace Removals again. Jack, Meeks and Cam sorted my move from Havelock North to Perth.They all contributed to a stress free, easy move.Jacks communication and professionalism was great.And Meeks was friendly, kept me updated and helped with any paperwork that needed filling .Lastly Cam who did the moving was friendly, efficient and took care and pride with packing.Thanks for the good work team
Only giving one star because I can't give zero! Cost about same as other removalist companies from NZ to Australia but professionalism well below par! I caught the NZ (Christchurch) removalists throwing my houshold goods out the upstairs window, majority of items were not packed to international shipping standard & subsequently arrived broken, bubblewrap was taped directly onto all furniture items & difficult/impossible to remove sticky residue. To add insult to injury company not taking responsibility for their shonky practices & their insurance company used all the tricks in the book to not pay out my claim. VERY stressful from both a mental health & fiscal perspective!
Pity one star is the lowest.What an error using this subpar company, My advise to any one reading this, just move on and don't consider these muppets for even a move around the block.3M one side board missing, pots and pans not wrapped, just bundled together, broken items galore.I have insurance I thought they'll be reasonable.No definitely a company hell bent of effing over the customer. Insurance department don't respond, have to be asked every day for a response, and when a response is sent it's as plausible as the weather balloon reflective light from Venus. Im still awaiting an explanation as to how "atmospheric conditions" caused ceramic casserole dishes to break. how the stacked pots and pans without packaging causing deep scratches on the non-stick and general scuffing and other damage is all attributed to "atmospheric conditions" and when challenged getting told the non-stick peeled off due to high heat. noting that non-stick degrades at 250C and the boxes and other items were a combination of plastic and paper, which miraculously didn't catch alight.What a comical insurance department, likely run by untrained staff who come up with the most ludicrous excuses not to pay out insurance.AVOID AT ALL COSTS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Over 5 years ago we we trusted Grace Removals Christchurch with our furniture. I had jewellery still in my dutchess. We have been married 44 years now. My engagement ring was also stolen which I had left in my duchess by accident as they took my bedroom furniture faster than I thought. My furniture was so badly damaged. I told Tony that my headboard was also damaged by text and he said I must have has sex to hard for to happen. My husband can't have sex as he hasn't been able to have sex because of damage from bowel cancer surgery nearly 20 years ago. By saying what Tony said was so cruel my husband now has dementia at the beginning of this year he had a small stroke and recently had a heart attack. I could tell you more but to much to say on here. Is this how your customers are treated?The date I have put in is todays date as it over a 5 year experience. Christine Lewis.
