The team were fantastic. This was our third move in two years, and they were by far the best firm we’ve had. I would definitely recommend them and would also definitely use them again. Robert (the younger) led the team on moving day and was great. Everyone was brilliant but a special shout out goes to Courtney who made very light work of taking down and rebuilding our furniture, despite it having taken us ages to build in the first place!
Tricia, Robert and the removal team were absolutely one in a million. From booking to the removals van leaving, the service was 1st class. We were relocating from London to Birmingham and everything and anything we could have asked them to do was done with a smile. Would absolutely wholeheartedly recommend Gray's to anyone who wants people who will work super hard, understand that it can be stressful moving and be gracious and humble in their approach.
Grays were amazing. We had a last minute move and from the start Tricia was helpful and put our minds at ease. On the day Robert, Robert junior, Pat and Paul were all fantastic, they were friendly and made everything stress free. We would recommend Grays to anyone to help make your move as easy as possible.

I am so incredibly happy I went with Grays to relocate me from London to Cheshire. After doing a lot of research online I decided it was necessary for me to go with a BAR (British Association of Removers) removal company. I emailed Grays requesting a quote and within the hour I had a reply from Tricia, she is a wonderful representative for the level of service I could expect. She was super helpful and friendly, on email and the phone, she really took away the anxiety I had about the process. The day before the move a representative visited to asses what van would be needed for the move, and to confirm in person what time they will be coming the next day, another great example of the level of service Grays offers. The day of the move, my move was a 400 mile round trip, my London location is a busy London main road, the guys came incredibly early with such a great positive energy and attitude, they really helped me stay relaxed throughout the process. I am still amazed with how efficiently they loaded up the van, carried everything (furniture and boxes) down 2 flights (one being quite narrow) the 3 men had everything loaded up within 40 minutes. At the destination they met my family and unloaded everything to the 2nd floor of the storage unit, taking great care of my antique furniture and sentimental pieces, and expertly packed it into the unit. Moving is (and was for me) such a stressful event, and to have that moving stress completely taken away by the high standard and professionalism at Grays is fantastic, I strongly recommend them for your moving needs. I could not say anything negative, if you are looking for a BAR removal company (and you should) that provide a high level of service for a good price, then Grays is the one for you.
Tricia and her team have been absolut superstars! Their service was quick, reliable, very smooth and efficient. Tricia went above and beyond to make the stressful process of moving so easy. The three men who came to do my removal were astonishingly efficient. They got the whole thing done in record-quick time, with no breakages.They were a teeny bit grouchy however - one of them said, "We're so busy at the moment we could really have done without you, but we try to honour our bookings," and two of them separately told me that they'd had to hire an extra lorry to do my removal because all their own vehicles were in use but "we wanted to keep the booking". Well... yes. That's basic professionalism: if you take a booking you honour it. No extra points for that. And maybe not a great idea to tell paying customers that you don't need their business?But they got the job done, can't argue with that!
Having called around a number of removal companies to help with an office move in Central London 'next week' and received a mostly unhelpful response, Tricia was a breath of fresh air. She was helpful positive and nothing was too much trouble, which is exactly what you want during a stressful move. We paid (reasonably) by the hour for three guys Pat, Courtney and Paul who arrived in their van on time and were most helpful in getting the job done efficiently and with care. I would highly recommend the team at Grays to anyone on the move. Thank you Grays!
