Waters Edge - Castle Marina, Nottingham Last night we were accused of cheating in the pub quiz, which we were far from winning! As embarrassing as that was after we had spent at least £60 on our evening I was more alarmed to be told they had been looking on CCTV at our phones and showing this information to the women hosting the quiz, Jo who is a 3rd party and not employed by the company! Putting the quiz aside I find this to be a complete breach of GDPR, sharing information without our consent. We both have work phones which can hold sensitive information. I don’t think this is acceptable.We have spent hundreds of pounds over the weeks in here and now I feel upset this is what you have been doing to people trying to enjoy an evening out after work.
Went in The Sale Marsland Road on Tuesday evening, it was not at all busy. There was no one at the bar and no staff. I waited at least 10 minutes then a staff member came out carrying food, acknowledged me with a nod of her head then went back in came out in a few minutes with another plate of food, ignored me, then went back into the kitchen. Came out again in a few minutes and began searching in a cupboard, could not find what she was looking for, then eventually came and served me as if nothing was wrong. Appalling bar service and not the first time.
What i hope for was quite the opposite.Seated quite quickly. Couldent help to notice the hygine levels were not what i expected. Tables given a basic wipe. The cuttlery looked liked it needed a wash in bleach.Asked for some new forks these were in a similer standered to the original.Food arrived. Plates were cold no salt pepper or napkins present. Quality of the food was basic although plentifull.The whole experence has put of dinning any where for the near future.
Visited The Old Rooms, Weymouth for Sunday lunch after making a booking. 40 minutes for a drink, after I went to bar to complain. Left after over1 hour 50 minutes and still no food. A very rude member of staff with no customer service skills. Other people left and others sent food back. Shame they used to be good. Would not give one star if I could
Review for Sir jacks Bramley. Seemed ok but had to brush food off the seats before sitting down. The wrong food arrived & had to wait longer for 1 meal so had to eat separately. Both meals didn't resemble what they should based on description. Tiny salad , overloaded with chips.The beyond meat burger was half plus a piece on the side & flat (not as a usual beyond meat burger) as can be seen in the picture. Won't eat at Sir Jack's Bramley again.
the Walkford Hotel, Walkford road, Christchurch BH23 5QD( the postal address is Christchurch but it's half way between Bransgore and New Milton )Our favourite Pub for many years. Usually visit around once a month for lunch or dinner. Decent car park, comfortable seating, plenty of choice on the food & drink menu, prices are very good, the food is very good, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is a mixture of friendly anonymity.I know one or two GK pubs are a bit grim, and vary a fair bit as to all the above, I've had the misfortune to fetch up in some on my travels, but The Walkford is great.
beggars bush public house new oscottavoid,manager(rhieanne) when aprouched regarding,the amount of flys especially where foods served !! was brushed off,she wasnt helpful,actually very rude and blunt !! to top it off i had servier food poisioning the next day!! needs visiting by hygiene officer
We called in without a booking, we were welcomed by Val who looked after us at lunch time. The food was presented well and on hot plates. The Food quality was excellent. well cooked to our liking.We shall definately go back again. Thank you Val and staff.
