Woodman pub Bilbrook2 options for gluten free foodTook order only to be told the gammon doesnt come with fries , so have jacket spud When comes isnt cooked and all hard in the middle , egg shell still in eggTables in pub not cleared which might be down to only two staff members on , one of which if went any slower would be going backawards

Review for key master willenhall

Review for key master willenhall I am beyond disappointed in my visit here today. Used this pub for many years for food and never had a bad visit and it’s usually a very busy place. Noticed there was a lot of empty tables and soon realised why. When we first got to our table we had to clean it as it had jelly on it. It was a reserved table so presumed it would be ready for us. Ordered the food on the app no problem took a while to come considering how empty the pub was. Steak wasn’t cooked medium rare nor was it 11oz but we just carried on. Daughter had the sloppy joes and it was labelled as ground beef in sloppy joes sauce, it came with baked beans mushrooms and onions. I feel this should have been stated on the menu especially for allergy reasons. This food went 90% un eaten. Not for allergy reasons but my daughter hates beans mushrooms and onions so we would have never ordered it. We then decided to order puddings as my one daughter was still hungry seeing as she had only had chips off her plate. After 30 mins I had to ask would they know how long it would be to get the puddings and could we possibly get our table cleared. The whole time we were there no tables were cleared around us plates just sat piled up. When the puddings came we were missing 2 ice-creams so I then had to go and re-ask for the remainder of our order. In a private conversation between myself and someone at my table it was said that “HE” never apologised referring to a male worker who we had said that we had waited a long amount of time and were getting a bit fed up at this point. A female worker who was listening in walked past our table stating “I did apologise” which was actually caught on voice note on my daughter’s phone. Now up to this point we had said absolutely nothing about the state of the table, the sloppy joes being completely falsely advertised which could be very dangerous, the wait for the food, the steak looking like a fat blob on the plate like a meatball rather than an actual steak we only spoke to ask did he know how long the puddings would be as we had waited a long time then it still came wrong so the outburst from the staff member listening to our private conversation was very much un called for. Now she could have said I’m sorry to be listening in but I can hear your not having a great time here is there anything I can resolve for you but nope. At this point my one daughter who unfortunately has learning difficulties panicked thinking something bad was going to happen so she just kept asking to leave so the puddings didn’t fully get eaten either. I approached the only manager I could see and he did inform me he’s not actually in today as manager so I asked who I could then speak to but he asked me what the problem was. I Informed him about the females outburst and said in brief that I found my visit there quite disappointing as I have always loved the pub and he said ok that shouldn’t have happened and that was that no one spoke to us after that. Very sad to see this pub like this today as we have had many meals here. I personally won’t go back and presume they would be grateful for that considering my review but maybe this review might just prompt a conversation to be had and some positive put changes in place to get it back to what it was.

The Bear, Hungerford

We went for lunch in Hungerford and it was not good. The kitchen sent out a sandwich with some horrible looking rocket leaves on the side ( I mean disgusting ) and a pretty bland bowl of salad leaves. The sandwich was short of much interest inside except for some pieces of chewy steak. We complained and fair play the manager was very good and helpful.The whole place did not fill us with much joy, it was lets say somewhat tired. It is in need of some refurbishment and we would suggest a good interiors designer needs to be involved.

Barry. Went to coopers Mill with my family. The service was efficient and served with passion, so helpful. The food was great in quality and we would recommend this pub, Manager and team to everyone.We will return again and again.

Band performed at GK pub but cant get paid

Our band played at a Greene King venue. It was very successful and we got a great review on the pub FB page. However, it seemed that in order to get paid we had to join their Concur/SAP data system. This has proven to be an absolute nightmare. So far, I have had to make three visits across the county back to the pub, and even then the pub manager could not make Concur work. I have wasted hours and hours on emails and phone calls and just come up against the dead end dealing with GK, lots of promises but no action. It is as if they really do not care about paying people who have performed for them. It is now six weeks and still no payment, despite going through every single hoop put in front of us. It is obvious from the masses of complaints online from those who have performed at GK pubs and cant get paid, that the Concur system is not fit for purpose. We value GK as a company providing opportunities for musicians and bands, but their payment system is absolutely appalling. We have been performing for a great many years and never had this much grief. We aim to be a reletively inexpensive band, comprising veteran ex-professionals that bring our loyal following to gigs, so this is particularly disappointing by Greene King.

Went the Robin Hood

Went the Robin Hood, Tottington, Bury. The staff were wonderful and food was excellent. The only let down was the pub itself. It need a good refurbishment. Would have been 5 stars if a little nicer.

Be cautious with Green King

Be cautious with Green King. They deceive people.I took part in a prize giveaway and won a voucher. Afterwards, they asked me to provide my ID for verification. Then they went silent for about two weeks until I reached out to them myself.Eventually, they sent me false information — a fake voucher. I found out it wasn’t valid when I tried to use it at Hungry Horse. I was very disappointed, as I had wasted my time.I contacted them again to find out why they had deceived me, taken my personal information, and sent nothing in return. A week later, they sent me another non-working voucher and then blocked me.In conclusion, I want to warn everyone not to share their personal information with them, as I suspect it may be used in fraudulent schemes.

we stayed at the Kings Head Hotel in…Wimborne Minster.

we stayed at the Kings Head Hotel in Wimborne Minster , Dorset from the 7th to the 10th August as we were due to celebrate our golden wedding by renewing our vows in Wimborne in the Minster on the 9th of August , throughout our stay in the hotel the team led by Manager Trefore , assistant Manager Laura and all the staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived until we left , seating all our group together for breakfasts and attending to all our needs with great professionalism , skill, and courtesy .On top of this on the day of our renewal of our Vows the Manager in his own time drove my son and my Wife around the square to the Minster in his open topped Limousine also a room was laid out amazingly beautiful for us and our 13 guests Wedding breakfast making this not only a great stay but a magical experience, well done Trefore and team and thankyou Greene king.

Just went to the wintersteam farm in…

Just went to the wintersteam farm in Bristol, this is the worst food I have ever had , it’s disgusting, mixed grill , the chicken was over done and very dry , the steak was not medium rear but burnt to a crisp , the two sausages was burt like on a barbecue, the peas was hard and the chips was over cooked, talk about disgusting, never come here again

***** 5 Star ***** Highly Recommend visiting The Billet - Sittingbourne. Food and drink are very good and very well priced. The place is very welcoming, especially Rob the manager who always goes the extra mile and makes me and my young family feel welcome.
