Review Time
Edit: While i am disappointed that my order did not arrive in time for Christmas even though i placed it on november 9th, the response from hatstore customer service has been good and i received a full refund so i am amending my review to reflect that. Original review: I am very disappointed. Hatstore Australia is NOT AUSTRALIAN and although they advise of this at some point, the delivery times listed on their site are completely untrue. I was prepared for a small delay. The site said 7-11 business days, a couple of days delay may occur. A couple of days?!?! It has now been 30 days since my order cleared customs, 35 days since placing my order, and it is still just sitting in Switzerland. Even in covid times, i thought because i ordered early November it could reach me in plenty of time for Christmas. How wrong. Now i have no present to give. Customer service do respond to emails which is the only positive so far, but no one can tell me when it may arrive, and i have been fobbed off for the last 2 weeks, being told they have no doubt it will arrive in time. But it wont. If they know there are such excessive delays, they should advise of this and only offer postage options that will arrive in a reasonable timeframe.Ok so i have received your reply where you say 30-45 days, AND you say this is advised at checkout but that is simply untrue. Even my checkout page specifically said 7-11 business days a couple of days delay may occur. You may have since changed this, but it most definitely did not say it previously. I have tried to attach a screen shot but it wouldnt let me so i would appreciate if someone advised me of how to do this.
Emailed Hatstore Australia for an update on my order of four hats after waiting more than 5 weeks so far. I received a cheery response advising that they'll surely be leaving Sweden and on their way to me soon. Never again. Had I realised I'd be waiting over 5 weeks just for them to leave Sweden plus however long it takes for them to travel to Australia (2 months or more in all likelihood) I never would have placed the order. So disappointed.
