Review Time
This is a review for Metro Harley Davidson Cedar Rapids Iowa. I spoke with Jerry on a few mileage matter and she was very, very, very knowledgeable and very accommodating in our phone call. I am not a customer up there, but she took the time to explain some things to me. I really appreciate your help, she called me back twice which was very very good. I highly recommend this dealership.
I have never seen a company do something so underhanded. I order a part online. The shipping was shown to be free. No extra charges shown. After I ordered and paid with my credit card, they sent an email and added a shipping charge of $4.91. They called it "Freight" not shipping. They also added $10 of "Additional Fees" with no explanation. I contacted the company and they said something to the effect that they do not normally carry this item and as such has a freight charge. As far as the additional $10 fee, they gave some justification for it that did not make any sense. I forgot what that justification was. I told they cannot just add fees and costs after the item was purchased. I guess I should be thankful that the $10 fee wasn't $1000 and the freight charge wasn't $300. l told them to cancel the order. I would not have bought that item if they were upfront and told me of the fees before I purchased it.
There Dallas warehouse is one of the most poorly managed warehouses and no one in upper management cares at all! Orders are constantly missing items. When the warehouse doesn't include something in the delivery, they still mark it as delivered and charge you. Dealing with these new charges and credits is very time consuming and absolutely ridiculous! I have called and made numerous complaints and they just don't care. My sales representative is total joke, not sure what he does there since he doesn't reach out to me for anything. Unlike past sales reps who were in contact with me at least monthly. This is no surprise since no one seems to really care about customer service there anyways. I've worked with this company for years and have always had a great relationship with my assigned salesperson and my orders use to be correct. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with this company! I don't even want to give a 1-star review.
Do not use this company. They have horrible unprofessional drivers. The driver was extremely aggressive and rude. 9/27/2033 4:05pm today in Virginia at the intersection of Georgetown Pike and Balls Hill Rd McLean, Va a driver blocked a very busy intersection and then when several cars honked (including myself) at him he began to shout out profanities and became very hostile and agressive. He was rude in his action and lacked professionalism. He represents this company, driving this company’s truck and he clearly showed the community during rush hour traffic the type of people this company employes. I would not trust this company and their drivers. I only hope that they use him as an example to their employers that you do not stand nor tolerate such behavior and that this driver is not a good representation of the company by firing him!
Twice in the last two months I have ordered mini shampoo/conditioner/lotions for my hotel property. The case is supposed to contain 198 pieces and both times the box came with a tiny fraction of that amount. The first came with only 9 pieces, the second came with 27 pieces. Rather than just reship the orders, HD supply required me to pay a second time to issue a replacement. On top of that, I also had to return the nearly empty boxes to them in order to get a refund for the first order. Shipping the almost empty boxes is such a strange mistake to have made in the first place, especially twice in a row, but it's extra frustrating to have to pay twice and also go through the trouble of returning a nearly empty box to get the refund.Customer support agents are friendly and understanding.
I ordered an AC condenser, whip, coil and pan for my new central air. I price shopped and they were over $700 or more LESS than everyone else for a really nice unit. They had free shipping (they say usually next day) and that was even going to a residence with a lift gate needed.There were some bumps or I would have given 5 stars for sure. The order that first day after purchase said it was in transit and arriving the next day but when it didn't and I looked again it still had that date but said the order was processing. 4-5 days later it still showed the same thing, a delivery date in the past and not even in transit, so it was confusing.I called and the rep said it would arrive the next day but I work close by so I asked for a call ahead. She said they can't unless I ask with my order, also strange. I asked for the warehouse number and who would be delivering and she said she would find out and let me know but never did.Later that night I started reading some nasty reviews and panicked. I called again for the warehouse number and she said my order had been delivered and refused...WHAT!!? I live alone and have cameras, did not happen and according to you wasn't even supposed to happen. My install is Tuesday, what is going on, oh no.Well, shortly thereafter the DRIVER called me (Surprise!) and he was SUCH a nice man and he said he was 15 minutes out. He came and even pulled around back in the alley close to my storage shed.My HVAC inspected the equipment and said it was perfect. I'm not sure of the disconnect with their CS and warehouses but hang in there if you are having issues, the info is not always accurate and there is hope yet.I am super happy and feel like I got a really great deal, THANK YOU HD Supply!
Sent wrong and almost expired items, twice!, and have yet to get a refund. I was sent the wrong items from what I ordered and the product was almost expired. I called and thought I got it resolved, to only find out that "the wrong department" handled my replacement, which did not make sense to be because it was the number on their website for customer support. The replacement became a hassle, well, when it came, it was the same WRONG shipment - wrong product and expires in less than a month. I am still trying to get my promised refund.
The lies I was told that my item was shipped and was refused My outside camera was on and no one arrived at my front step at the time it claimed to be delivered.I received no slip that the item was tempted to be delivered and inaddition the signature was falsely sign. I have a guard dog and I wouldof been alerted if there was some at the door . Awful experience on top of that they can’t refund me my money only credit. I’m waiting for the credit to show up
HD Supply sent email saying door was delivered but it never was. They charged my card but I never received the door. I lost $330 and had to waste time disputing the charge with my credit card. This company is well-versed at scamming people. They gave a tracking number and everything.
