The out of pocket cost of all of their services, even after paying consistent premiums for years (30 here) is excessive. As are the premiums. If their rates are meant to be lower being not-for-profit (a members own insurance group slogan), I'd hate to see what the "for profit" providers charge. Seriously considering dropping insurance because of the lack day-to-day advantages ( that are non-existent ). Been a member for over 30 years ( because it's the "right thing to do" with a family ) and the best Health Partners could award me with is a $50 chemist gift card... How about a little insurance premium relief!Generally, if you are of reasonable health, this is a waste of money.
A health fund I’ve been with since childhood that no longer represents value for money. Service is really generic in terms of rules always clearly stipulated but in a non client centric way. Interaction feels like the customer is less important than protecting the insurer.
Solid coverage, but not cheap. You receive cheaper services through Health Partners providers, but that does limit your options a bit (e.g. having to go to Health Partners branded optical stores to purchase glasses limits the range available to you to whatever they stock). Good discounts at partner pharmacies.Having said that, when I got seriously sick and opted for private hospital Health Partners handled everything with flying colours, so can't fault them there.
