My name is Heather Cooper. I just love everything about HealthPartners and feel so fortunate to have received so many benefits over the years-this one in particular as I had 2 hips replaced and 2 molar teeth removed ! I received Home Care from Investigator Health which took pressure off my 82 yr old husband who was then able to look after me at home. In particular the Physio visits were terrifi. My hospital stay at Sports Med was covered and the gaps were reasonable.I hope I won't be needing further expenses but it's so great to know that our top extras will covers most possibilities in the future. It is especially helpful as self-funded retirees to be able to pay monthly. Our grateful thanks. I recommend your group to everyone I meet !!
Pros - Health Partners are easy to deal with, friendly helpful staff. Easy, no-fuss claims process. Great newsletters, web articles etc. Very good hospital cover.Cons - I can't get a decent rebate if I choose my own physio, dentist or optometrist. I'm sure the Health Partners ones are excellent, but there are good reasons I chose the health professionals I have. Also, not terribly impressed with the optical dispensers for HP Optical. The couple of times I did use them, errors were made, which was very frustrating. And HP Optical don't keep/prescribe the contact lenses I wear, so I can't purchase from them anyway.
