I traveled to Istanbul for a hair transplant and I am absolutely impressed with the entire experience.Organization & Communication: • Perfect airport pickup and reliable transfers between hotel and clinic. • Communication via WhatsApp was excellent – even when I lost my passport in a taxi, the team immediately took care of everything, including contacting the taxi company and the hotel. • Appointments and schedules were always communicated clearly and on time.Clinic & Treatment: • Warm welcome, small but modern and extremely clean clinic. • Interpreter present at all times, smooth communication in English. • Monday: blood test and preparation (serum to stimulate hair growth). • Tuesday: hair transplant – very professional procedure. The specialist took a lot of time to draw the hairline and adjusted it several times until it was perfect. I could actively contribute to the decision. • The local anesthesia was a bit painful at times, but the team reacted immediately and made sure I was comfortable. • Extraction and implantation were carried out with great professionalism. During the procedure, I could listen to music or audiobooks and even fell asleep for a while. • After treatment, I received a bandage, food, medication, and detailed aftercare instructions.Aftercare & Results so far: • Sleeping the first nights is a bit challenging (only on the back with a neck pillow). Some swelling and fluid discharge, but no major pain. • On the third day, the first hair wash was demonstrated at the clinic, followed by a short laser treatment. Afterwards, I received my medication package and transfer to the airport. • At home: mild swelling, all scabs gone after about 10 days. • After 4 weeks, the expected hair shedding phase began, which is completely normal. • Healing is progressing well and everything looks promising so far.Conclusion:Perfectly organized from arrival to departure, extremely professional and caring team, excellent communication, and so far very good results. I can highly recommend this clinic!

I scheduled my hair transplant about seven months in advance, choosing this clinic largely because a close friend went here and had an excellent experience. Communication during the wait was seamless via WhatsApp. Responses came quickly, at any hour, and every question was answered clearly. Understandably I had many. From the outset, the clinic was transparent about my donor area’s limited density, advising me to keep my expectations realistic. They explained that the final graft count would be confirmed in person. I respect this honesty, as I feel like many clinics might simply tell me what I want to hear. When the day arrived, I was greeted by a spotless, professional, and modern facility - “sterile” is a better term to describe it, I guess. I’ll admit, I was incredibly overwhelmed and seriously considered backing out, especially since I had traveled alone. For anyone in the same position, I recommend bringing someone along, even if they can’t join you in the operating room. I believe this would have made everything better for me. The staff’s empathy and reassurance helped feel at ease, though. The procedure itself was straightforward, with the only discomfort coming from the anesthesia injections. Throughout the five-hour operation, an English-speaking staff member regularly checked in, ensuring I was comfortable and answering any questions. I did fall asleep shortly into the operation with my AirPods in listening to a podcast.After the surgery, I was guided through the aftercare routine which consisted of antibiotics, shampoo, foam, and cleaning instructions, given a meal, and then transported back to my hotel. The entire process took about six hours. The next day, I returned to the clinic for bandage removal and a full head wash before being taken to the airport.Once home, I was contacted by Mustafa via WhatsApp, my dedicated one-year post-operative care specialist. He provides ongoing guidance, requests regular photo updates to track progress, and promptly addresses any questions or concerns. His support has been very helpful.Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Hermest clinic without any complaints. I look forward to recovering and am eager to see the final result in the coming months. I did get scratched by a cat in Istanbul which prompted me to get rabies and tetanus shots, but that’s neither here nor there and has nothing to do with the clinic. I also arrived in Istanbul a couple days before the surgery to explore - something I recommend as doing this after surgery is a lot more difficult and unpleasant.
It was a great experience. Hermes book to me a 5 star hotel in Istanbul, VIP Transfer was very great. They picked me up every day and from the Airport and to the Airport back. The Stuff was amazing. They explain everything to me about the operation, they support me after the operation. They made a great Hairline. I feel better now after 2 weeks.
It's been almost 2 weeks after surgery and regardless the normal initial discomfort and accommodations associated with the procedure and healing, my overall experience with Hermest Hair Clinic was great; everything was thought through : paid three days of hotel accommodation, paid transportation, friendly and thoughtful staff, included post-op medication. Communication and support are also their strength, personal translator throughout the surgery, detailed information throughout and continuous dedicated personnel with friendly reminders. Already recommended to family, friends and co-workers.
