Neat wrist band and a good app. As others, it took quite a few attempts to set up. I have been comparing the data to a calibrated Omron over 4 weeks and on average the SI is 18mmHg too high, Dsis is 10mmHg too high, both well out of spec of 10/7Pulse is quite close, 3 too highI calibrated it with cuff the unit twice in the first week to try and improve the accuracy. This didn’t have any effect. I calibrated it with the cuff again 2 days ago. The routine then gave a reading very close to my Omron, but when looking at the report later that day, in the app was still showing 15/8 too high. Better, but still out of spec. The whole system is useful as it takes around 40-50 readings each 24hrs, as long as you adjust the data to something more sensible.
Product is great and works well, the back up service when enquiring about the replacement wristband to suit large wrist not so good, I enquired over 3 weeks ago, received a generated email but still no response on price or where to buy.
The device is great, and seems to work well. But customer service is slow, and inflexible. Beware, that without informing you, the device ships with a medium size wristband, and no option to select a large. After paying a premium price, £200, for the device, they will not swap the wristband for a large one, but you can buy one, for a hugely expensive price of £30 + shipping, for a flimsy rubber watch strap. Given that people with hypertension also tend to be overweight, it would be fair to ship the larger wristband by default. It feels like they don't really care once they've got your money. A massive contrast with Veri, also in the health care sector whose customer service is astonishingly good; incredibly responsive, and if any device fails they immediately ship another free of charge.
The wrist band worked well and I found it useful for blood pressure monitoring over 24 HR period .I did notice the the blue tooth required the battery to be about 70 percent to get readings ?Happy with product and removes the aniexty of taking BP manually.
I decided to buy this monitor while in hospital I am 65 and recovering from heart bypass surgery. It’s been most useful in monitoring my progress since leaving hospital. Being able to print off the reports and show them to the medical teams monitoring my progress has been really helpful. The level of accuracy seems quite good when compared with a conventional cuff monitor. I have no regrets in my purchase and the price I feel is reasonable for the amount of R&D that must of gone into the development. My GP was very impressed with it as he hadn’t seen one before. I use mine with a recording oximeter to monitor my night time o2 levels as I suffer from sleep apnoea as well. The two devices give me a clear picture of my ongoing health as I continue to loose weight to aid my recovery and make lifestyle changes. The ability to measure progress is an invaluable tool to monitor and maintain ongoing health and react quickly if required.
