Review Time
This product has functioned well since I purchased in March, however over the last 2 weeks it has failed to synchronise, unless I have it cradled on the charger, I have to pair and unpair the device, it takes several attempts for the app to synchronise and pair, it also is taking only 3-4 readings in a 24 hour period
Purchased 9th march. 3 weeks in the bracelet was inaccurate, failed to hold a charge and failed to match the normal cuff figures and record at night. After numerous emails customer services refused to give me a refund after I returned the faulty bracelet to them. They stated as id gone past 14 days free return i was not entitled to a refund. After several emails they after 2 weeks and my demand for a refund have sent out a replacement. Paypal credit are looking at my case. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. In our experience it doesn't work and is inaccurate. Customer service is shocking!! I still sent them a consumer rights email they ignored that too. Tons of unhappy customers on facebook.
Product does work and provides many readings over the day, I manually read once a day and it appears to tally well with that. Provides valuable insight into how blood pressure varies whilst asleep. Would be nice to have an export function from the app, but pdf output is good and works for the doctor
I find normal blood pressure monitors very unconfortable and painful. They bruise my upper arm quite badly. I've been monitoring my blood pressure with Aktiia for over a month now, and have only had to wear the upper arm cuff twice - once to initally calibrate, and once after a month to recalibrate the wrist monitor. Unfortunately I was reluctant to send this review in, however, the lack of customer support has pushed me to mention a few things. 1. No warranty cover for new unit my charger doesn’t work anymore so unable to charge. I have asked repeatedly if I can send in for inspection but it’s not covered apparently. 2. No customer service continuity. 3. My unit was working very well for the first few days then when I tried to re charge nothing happened. I was very impressed with the first week of use, as someone who suffers from HBP I was looking forward to integrating the results into my recoveryAll I asked for was for them to inspect the gadget after 1 weeks use. Very disappointing
