Does what it says on the tin, I take my BP every day when I wake up (Stroke Survivor and thought everything was OK) 24/7 monitoring from Aktiia however showed it was consistently elevated through the day - took a 14 day overview to my GP and medication adjusted according. Absolute gamechanger in tracking the "silent killer" Battery life seemed to fall off a cliff just as warranty expired.
Hi, recently ordered Akiita and started using it a few days ago. Was working great but got "cloud error" a few times when loading the app and now all my data has been lost and it won't take any new readings! contacted support 2 days ago but no response as yet.
I have been using Aktiia for about three months now. I have some serious concerns over its accuracy and range of readings. I have tried to contact support on a number of occasions and not been able to receive any help or guidance. I chose the device as I have a genetic kidney disorder and I need to monitor my blood pressure regularly. The company boost about its high accuracy levels. I question this claim.
Comfortable on ( silicon band could do with being a little longer for the larger wrist ).You would never track your blood pressure like this using a traditional method, so this is a great productEasy to use phone App. And you can export the data for you medical professional when needed.Only thing was I wanted one for my wife and had to buy a complete setup, In reality I only needed the wrist band. The calibrating cuff could be used on multiple bracelets or people, I did ask if I could purchase separately, but said they are not available. Which is a shame for households with multiple people. ( Your missing a sales opportunity )The only gripe is that the wrist band is not waterproof, and that is a shame....you take it if for a morning shower and easy to forget to put it back on. This in my mind should be an easy design/change task to do. Again missing a potential there.
