I was unfairly banned, I did not even do anything thats the most annoying part, I think its unfair how I feel mistreated maybe because of my race, but its not fair how a credible app can take your information and ban you after using them, I used my personal information to verify myself including using my passport and I was still banned unfairly, I advice people against using an app like this.
When you download the app at first you will get some matches.
But after some time they just all dry up. I checked online and it seems this is part of the algorithm to get people to pay for boosts.
With now justifying reason they deleted my account but took the money for subscription.
I was excited to use Hinge and paid for a subscription, but my account was removed without any clear explanation. On top of that, the subscription charge was not refunded. That feels unfair and has really damaged my trust. If you delete accounts, you should provide clear reasons and automatically refund unused subscription time.
Hinge is okay, but not good enough to find anyone you look for. The app looks nice and the profile prompts are better than simple swipe apps, so conversations can bd more natural. You can THEORETICALLY meet real people there, but it never actually happens.
Biggest joke I found in the online dating field! They make you super performed with pictures and I got three results one not in my preference two definitely not appealing! Be wise for your money better day flush it down the toilet my opinion

- it has already paid off: I’ve had a couple of successful dates. There is one more disturbing thing about Hinge that I need to mention. When your subscription is about to end you start getting lots of matches, likes and attention. Don’t fall for this illusion: it’s done by AI. Avoid Hinge!
HINGE is a complete scam. I have had multiple issues with the app and for over a week I have been asking them to simply tell me how to send a standard like as I do not have the icon and this has still not been addressed. Disappointing to say the least considering its a basic but primary feature. Cost me $139. Just a rip off.

Instead of taking action against the individual soliciting money, the service permanently banned my account for “soliciting.” I submitted an appeal with screenshots as evidence. Their reply? A generic, copy-pasted rejection that completely overlooked the evidence. In the meantime, I have reported several profiles openly promoting services or asking for money — and no action is taken against them. So, let’s clarify:
• Individuals asking for money remain active
• Those who don’t respond get banned Either the moderation team doesn’t review appeals, or they simply don’t care. If you prioritize fairness, transparency, or even basic logic — this platform is a risk.
All interactions felt automated. I switched to another platform where everyone is genuine, and I’ve even made friends. I had two great dates on the new service, which far surpasses the previous one. I learned a costly lesson, but I won’t repeat that mistake!
