Review Time
I wouldn’t recommend. Their website has many records that aren’t actually in stock. Weeks after my purchase I was made aware of this and was told I could buy a different record and pay the difference. Because of this my gift wasn’t what I wanted to send and it arrived after Christmas.
9Placed an order for 6 records. Money was taken, I then received an email saying 5 of the 6 records were out of stock.
I was offered alternatives or store credit.
I expressed I did not want this, then after some delay I received an email back saying they would cancel my order and issue a refund in 14 days. It has not been 22 days since I first placed the order
No refund given still. Luckily after raising the dispute with my bank they refunded the money and are chasing horizon on my behalf.
I rated this a four due to some room for improvement. I placed my order on 19th December and paid £149, plus £8.99 for expedited delivery since these were Christmas gifts. I genuinely expected them to arrive on time. At the time of order, none of the items indicated they were out of stock. I received an email on 21st December stating "this has been ordered in for you successfully, it will be with next week and your order will ship." I found this unclear and emailed on 23rd for an update since I hadn't received any delivery notifications. I was informed that only two records were available and the rest needed to be ordered in. I requested that they send the two available items so I would at least have something for my daughter, but was told the next shipment would arrive after Christmas. Although the representative apologized, clearer communication would be appreciated. I ended up purchasing additional records elsewhere as part of a larger gift. The delivery finally arrived on 31st December, and my daughter was thrilled with them all. They were well-packaged and undamaged upon arrival. I would consider purchasing again due to the variety available, but I would definitely order earlier for special occasions. The representative was excellent in keeping me updated on my order's status, and the website was user-friendly.
I ordered a vinyl as a Christmas gift that was hard to find elsewhere. It seemed like the company had it in stock, and with a 48-hour Royal Mail delivery, I expected it to arrive quickly. However, it turned out the item wasn't in stock, but they made an effort to source it and I eventually received the vinyl. Their email communication was also excellent. The only downside was the delay in sourcing, which wasn’t clearly communicated at the time of order. I missed the gift deadline, but the recipient was so delighted to receive the record that it ultimately didn’t matter. So, I’m giving four stars for their effort and deducting one for the lack of initial transparency. My advice is to reach out to them via email if you're pressed for time, but definitely consider them for items that are hard to find.
It seems I had a similar situation as several others. I ordered an LP and received an email indicating it was out of stock, along with a lengthy explanation about their efforts to source it from another supplier. When I requested a refund, I was met with a narrative about being an independent store and how store credit would help them. Upon asking for a refund again, the response was notably different, and I was curtly informed that the refund process would take 14 days. When I shared the email with a friend to vent, she revealed she had gone through the exact same ordeal.
I ordered a record marked as "in stock." Two days later, I received an email stating it wasn't available. Their suggestion? Switch to the new release version—priced at £83 on their site, while it was available at a local store for £64. When I requested a full refund, they were hesitant and tried to persuade me to accept store credit, citing the need to support small businesses. I pointed out that their listing still shows the record as available—they have not updated it. They promised a refund within 14 days. We'll see if that happens. My recommendation: stay away from this shop. They seem to keep stock information outdated intentionally and push customers towards more expensive alternatives when they can't fulfill orders. That's not how honest businesses should operate. There are many trustworthy online record shops that genuinely value their customers.

I don't usually write reviews, but I've dealt with this store multiple times for vinyls that are hard to find elsewhere. They consistently offer fast delivery, decent prices, and an amazing selection. I've never had any issues. Everything has always arrived in perfect condition. Thank you!
