Ordering process was quick. Delivery was on time and when it was promised. However the 2 boxes I received are what I consider to be short dated. Best Before date are November 2025 which is simply not good enough. I bought one box for someone’s birthday at the end of September and then someone else a box for their birthday at the beginning of December 2025, by which time it will be OOD. I am not very happy at all. You would expect them to be dated so they last until the new year 😤Update: I have contacted Hotel Chocolat and I am still dissatisfied. Customer Service was polite and apologetic. They told me that it is not advertised but they only guarantee you a minimum of a month on chocolates that you order. So they are sending me a free postage label and I have to return them. They will then give me an e-card for the chocolates cost and I can the reorder nearer the time that I want them. They have offered free next delivery at no charge For such a prestige brand … sending out chocolates with only a month guarantee is very poor. They sell on QVC and on there they state there will be a minimum of 3 months shelf life. Do they keep all the short dated stock for their website ? 😤
Hotel Chocolat sorted out a voucher not working issue so I could place an order. Unfortunately message said delivered, but not to me. Amazon Delivery photo shows it was left in a public area where a large notice says not to leave goods there as items go missing. I have no no problem with Hotel Chocolat, but choose a delivery service that tries to hand goods to their customers rather than dumping goods!
