I'm sure the chocolate will be fine but your delivery agents are not. After searching all around the house (you did not give me a photo of delivery as that would have given me a clue as to where to look) I eventually found the package tucked in the garage, which is 20 metres away.
I think the chocolate is perfectly lovely and gift worthy. However after placing an order for over £100 I was then charged delivery on top. To add insult to injury they had it delivered by Amazon who as usual did not knock and in31 degree temperatures dumped it on my doorstep in the blazing sun. I am not impressed
It says that my hotel chocolat parcel had been delivered but I can't find it anywhere if it was taken in by someone there was no card left to say who it was that had taken it in I didn't think it would come today I got my parcel it was at a neighbours

I get a bundle of chocolates delivered every two months, so I always have small gifts in the house. I have been doing this for years and I have always been happy with the delivery , the notifications, and the chocolate products. And yes, I do eat some myself.
Love the velvetiser and chocolate sachets. However I do not appreciate Amazon your courier delivering late in the evening and failing to deliver to my door but dumping my order 3 floors down in my block of flats. A kind neighbour spotted the box and brought it up to me, when I said that it was from Hotel Chocolat he made the remark "why is a quality company using Amazon with their reputation for poor delivery". Exactly the question I asked myself when the box was so warm that the chocolate flakes in the sachet I opened had become a solid clump. Guy delivered chocolate at 1623 today and left it on my sisters doorstep he never knocked on the door as my sister was in the chocolates remained there all afternoon and when she finally picked them off the doorstep it was just a brown puddle in the box due to the weather that's 40 quid wasted not happy
I love hotel chocolat but had not realised they use Amazon to deliver. I accept that today was very hot but the chocolates were delivered at the end of the day and the outer wrapping was very warm. II could see that inside the boxes some of the chocolates were slightly melted! I have left them to cool down hopefully they will be ok UPDAT I have now been in touch directly with hotel chocolat and sent them photos of the boxes. Thank you
This company should be thinking of how to transport chocolate's in extreme heat. The birthday box arrived on the 10/7/2025. It was delivered by Amazon and left in the porch entrance. They were put in the fridge as his birthday wasn't till next week and the weather was 32 degrees. On opening on his birthday all of the chocolates and centres had melted. A bit disappointing. I know you can't control the weather. But I don't think I'd order chocolates via mail again as the presentation of these chocolates were not as expected.
