Ordered a box of the 10 single serves of drinking chocolate for the velvertiser we are very disappointed with the best before date ( 09/2025) lot no 24281.One reason why we did not buy from the shop at Cheshire oaks because of the short shelf life. We have some left in our cupboard that we bought back in December last year with a longer date .
Delivered by Royal Mail and despite the label saying Do Not Leave in Direct Sunlight they were pushed through my East facing letterbox at 11am on the hottest day of the year, no knock or doorbell ring and I was at home.POOR SERVICE BY ROYAL MAIL.
I ordered the chocolates for someone’s birthday and specified the delivery date, but to my surprise, HCh are using Amazon for delivery, and they dropped off the parcel 5 days earlier than requested — so no birthday surprise. Taking off the stars for delivery experience. Also, the enclosed gift card didn’t provide the option to put my text on it.
Ordered chocolates for my girlfriends birthday, I had no ETA on delivery all day, they then didn't show up until 6pm when she's out for the night, at which point Amazon leave them on the front door in 30 degree heat (despite me instructing to leave with neighbour). Chocolates are like soup when she returns home later. Really poor.
Not happy. I've received an email saying the parcel was delivered and the recipient received a message saying it had been delivered, but it hasn't. She checked with neighbours and had herself been in all day, with doors open, so there was no need to leave outside.
Absolutely disappointed! 3 boxes out of 4 have melted. These chocolates are going to be teacher's gifts. I cannot give them like this. And also the amazon driver drop the box in front of me to the floor to take a picture. It is unacceptable, I am very disappointed. I paid enough for a better service.
