Always buy Hotel Chocolat online for birthdays. The chocolates are delicious. Arrive well in time. Can't wait to have a sample from my daughter's chocs!They've helped me a lot in the past when I've had problems with delivery as my cousin was away, the staff were excellent sorting out a solution.
Obviously the Chocolates were divine but the efforts of the delivery driver to find a cottage on a farm with no road access made the whole thing a memory which I will cherish. I was on the phone to my daughter explaining that the driver couldn’t reach her when he pulled up. Sometimes thanks are not enough.
Top quality chocolate confectionary. Fabulous range to select from, both as large or small thoughtful presents for someone or simply a self indulgent treat. Good communication re delivery date and approx timeslot. Protective packaging all of which is recyclable. Can highly recommend!
Hotel Chocolat are great, pity the postman left the box propped up against my door in full sunshine for a few hours. The chocolates were a thank you so I had to apologise to the recipient, but not Hotel C's fault. The sticker that said keep out of direct sunlight maybe needs to be bigger and on both sides of the box.
Recieved the With Love sleeker box as a wedding gift. Nothing special about any of the chocolates at all. The ones that were ok were just bland and tasteless. The Vanilla tasted like gone off cheese, the Lemon Curd like stinky feet, and the Armaretto just like cheap rum. If you looking to buy chocolates for an occasion look else were, wouldn't recommend.
