Poor delivery but great chocolate

It's a shame that they now charge for delivery regardless of order amount. Especially since my box of chocolates was "delivered" by being abandoned on top of our delivery box in the baking sun. However, I do like the chocolate!

The parcel was left in my wheelie bin…

The parcel was left in my wheelie bin by Royal Mail, which is probably hotter than outside my patio door. As a result the chocolate flakes have stuck together inside the sachets.

Disappointed experiences

I ordered a birthday box of chocolates, but by the time I received it, they had melted into chocolate sauce and were completely inedible. I was really disappointed, especially since I was planning to give them as a gift.

Very disappointed

I ordered chocolates yesterday to be delivered today to a vetinerary practice to thank the team for looking after my dog after she passed away last week. It was passed to Amazon to deliver which they did, but not to the address specified.Someone somewhere has a quality box of chocolates, I hope they enjoy them. I was hugely disappointed. I contacted Hotel Chocolat and they are arranging a refund. I would rather Amazon had done their job properly. Perhaps the Amazon CEO has taken his eye off the ball in Venice, spending his fortune.

Hot chocolates

I have deducted a star purely as a result of poor delivery service by Amazon. They delivered the chocolates to steps by my front gate in 27°C heat despite my front door being left open, providing cooler shadier conditiond. The box measured 28°C and so was placed immediately in the refrigerator. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the chocolates will be alright.

Love the option of next day delivery…

Love the option of next day delivery but really, I think their selecting is awesome with the caramel batons being my absolute favourite, the giant Easter Eggs still the absolute best.

Chocolates are great but the Amazon…

Chocolates are great but the Amazon delivery is very poor. The chocolates were left on our doorstep in blazing heat, no one knocked or rang the door bell.Luckily I saw them on my way back from the shop.

Unfortunately the pack was delivered…

Unfortunately the pack was delivered while I was out and left on my front doorstep in the boiling heat chocolate melted and the rest in poor condition,postie should have known better could have asked a neighbor to take it in label clearly say do not leave near heat…..very sad have sent email to Hotel Chocolat hopefully post office will refund either myself or hotel chocolate
