I booked a hotel through hotel planner on Dec 9th 2025 for Feb 28th at Staybridge Hotel in Miami Florida. I prepaid and I was charged at the hotel. The hotel told me they didn't receive the payment. I reached out to hotel planner who then called thr hotel while I was waiting in the phone. The agent with hotel planner told me that they would put in to get my refund due to their mistake. That was a lie. I made several contacts phone calls and all the agents just lie and tell you they will send an email letting you know that you will receive an email. I'm so disappointed do not book through them. I just lost 233.00. I will never recommend them.

Luis at the Quality Inn was absolutely outstanding! He went above and beyond to help me get one of our drivers checked in and quickly booked into a room without any hassle. The process was smooth, professional, and handled with great attention to detail.

He was patient, efficient, and made sure everything was taken care of properly. When you’re coordinating travel for drivers, having someone dependable like Luis makes all the difference. His customer service truly stands out.

I made a reservation over the phone which I thought was directly with the hotel due to the need to request military rates at the Palace Station. I come to find out that it was not a direct booking. 5 days prior to the reservation I requested to cancel and to refund the amount due to military commitments and they refused to refund the amount. Instead they are attempting to issue me a voucher due to what they say is a non-refundable rate originally booked. It should be refunded. The individual who issued the over the phone booking never made mention it was a non-refundable rate, only that it was a government rate. This lack of disclosure of non-refundable rates over the phone during the original booking and subsequently not refunding the amount is borderline fraud. Poor customer service to say the least.

This review will remain until the refund issue has been resolved. The communication you say is occurring is an email saying a trouble ticket has been started. This is more a stall tactic than actual communication.

CAUTION: Just as a review posted 2/24/26 by Barbara Fesperman, they will email you with phone #'s to contact them, only to give you the run around. Called 1-866-684-9824 and it hangs up immediately. Tried the reservation line 1-800-760-7718 and after being on hold for 20 minutes with a recording stating a LIVE representative will be with you shortly, they hang up on you. We are a California law firm that was charged by this site for a reservation on 1/10/2026 that we believe is fraud. I have disputed the charge with our credit card company, but simply wanted to speak to an agent to verify. Having the ability to incorrectly charge people and not being able to contact any live breathing person makes this the perfect site for fraudulent activity, and Hotel Planner clearly does not care. Take the money and run. This booking site should be avoided at all costs and investigated for it's business and consumer practices.

I had no intention of staying over in Charlotte, but the flight was late and I missed the connection. Turns out a lot of other people did too, and everything was booked up. Codi took the time to find us a hotel that suited our needs, and didn't even get upset when I accidentally told him we were in Charleston, not Charlotte. I appreciate his patience.

Rep totally deceived us into thinking this was a very nice hotel, as I told him I wanted a nice hotel ranging from $350-$400 for 2 night when he came back with such a low price I told him I didn't know if it would be nice enough. He assured me that it was a very nice hotel as it's not just a best Western, but a Best Western PLUS. It isn't even a hotel, but a motel. I can't even open the curtains as any one walking by can see in. It's dingy and the swim pool and breakfast are not even in the same building. He charged us for cancelation protection, even though he said we would have had to have canceled before the date the reservation was made. Also we weren't even asked if we wanted it.

I specifically asked for a room with the hot tub and was told it was available and I paid extra for that room when I arrived at the hotel it was not available so I paid double for a basic room and can’t get a straight answer out of anyone at this company to get a refund when I called about being charged for the room with the hot tub and it wasn’t available they told me that that was just a special request that I paid double for. This site is a scam. We were without power for 7 days and were attempting to get a hotel room. They "supposedly" found us a room with a confirmation number. The Confirmation number was bogus. Now we have been trying to get our refund back now going on 3 weeks. They refuse to let you escalate your call and will hang up on you. Each time you call back they try to wear you down by telling you we are sorry, it will take at least 2-10 days.
