Casson court in Thorne

Casson court in Thorne The staff were very kind and gave my mother a lovely welcome. We were able to organise and move our furniture very smoothly. The court manager very kindly allowed us to have a new sofa and recliner chair delivered the day before the move.

We have effectively been without a…

We were effectively without a scheme manager for nearly two years, during which time requests for action regarding problematic windows, and the scruffy state of common areas were ignored. We now have a new permanent manager (appointed a month ago) who seems to be excellent, plus a new, very efficient cleaning regime, but the general response to past issues (from both area and head office management) have routinely ranged from indifference, to incompetence.

Prior to the refurbishment my Mum lived in Carew Court. The difference to the flats now is quite amazing.I would say that even though complaints are reported by the Home Management, it takes far too long for some to be actioned. An example is my large bedroom wind. The seal has failed, and the inside payne of glass very misted. The manager has reported this, but no action taken so far.

I would like to thank Housing 21 for giving me the opportunity to move into my very lovely flat my flat is located in the Bournemouth area close to all local immunities including the beach the reason I've given Housing 21 a four star is that in my view there are still a few things that need to be sorted out once these things are done I would be absolutely delighted to give Housing 21 five stars as I'm very very happy where I am so thank you Housing 21.

Great place to live

I have recently moved to Duchess of Kent Court sheltered accommodation. Love it here. Thank you to Jeanette Reid the court manager for supporting me and welcoming me when I moved in. Also the lovely residents who live there have made me feel very welcome.

Caring landlords

I was moved to write a review about the recent service I received from Housing 21. I have been a long term tenant & have recently transferred to a different court. Housing 21 sent a thoughtful Welcome hamper and have acknowledged the rising cost of living by gifting a generous donation to each resident. I appreciate Housing 21's commitment to its residents and the fact that I have been with them for 22 years is testament to how I feel about them as landlords.

Do your homework

Good morning.I hope this will be the last time I feel I have to write about my particular situation and therefore my view of Housing21-art in it.I am a 70 year old single man whose health is sadly declining. The reason for writing this particular review has been triggered by a letter I received from the manager regarding my particular behaviour on Friday. This letter came completely out of the blue and has saddened me greatly.I personally belief in working with individuals in a dignified and respectful way.I am not perfect but I am willing to put things right if I have caused offence.I have given a title to this review of do your homework.By this I mean that if you are considering living at Lavender meadows or any other care/support social facility try to ensure that the organisation will respect your individuality and your personal values and work in partnership with you.Don’t fall for the lovely advertising or words but really make sure you will be treated with dignity and respect which includes being tolerant and flexible in how you respond to meeting a vulnerable persons personal needs.I hope this review has been helpful.
