Noticed fraud transactions on 15th Aug, continuous calling customer service all day long - no one answered. Submitted fraud form myself received confirmation email from HSBC on same day.Called customer service again on 16th Aug, from morning and finally agent picked up at evening. Informed investigations will be processed, fraud team will contact me on 17th Aug. But no one called.Contacted HSBC mobile app on 22nd Aug, told me no records of my submission for fraud investigations. Said will reply me in another 3 days.Very poor customer support, don't expect them helping you during crisis.
Recently received a unauthorised transaction message and was trying to call to HSBC however after around 2 hours still no one pick up the call. Hopeless especially during critical time. All my reviews can support by screenshot of my phone. This is shame on their CEO.
The worst bank I had to deal with. Aside from terrible and outdated service policies, They can terminate your account anytime without revealing the reason. They just terminated the account Risky!!..awful services,nor safe not secure!!!. I know most banks have a reputation for fraud but I can affirm this one is the best one of a kind.HSBC has a global network;If they terminate the customer s account in one country then another Hsbc country can also terminate the account without any reason suddenly..Hsbc MALAYSIA doesnt serve well.Their services are really bad..In MALAYSIA, there are so many better banks that Malaysian fellows and others can opt to use..Stay away from this bank!!..Risky services and awful customer polices!!!!They give so much troubles to the customers with their service manner and policies..It is inconvenient and inefficient bank!!!Dont co-operate!!!! STAY AWAYlets stop using HSBC Malaysia which is renowned for unfriendly and troubled inefficient services!!!I have opened an account in Malaysia HSBC on the January 2021.Then I started to use their services;But I found that their services were not customer friendly nor efficient at all..Then all of a sudden I got a letter on the 06th May 2022 from them as follows:“23 May 2022Your account(s) will be closed on from the Account Closure Date as stated a=bove. Please read the Appendix which contains specific information you need=to know and the steps you need to take.Please let us have your bank account details (Bank name, bank address toget=her with SWIFT Code or IBAN Code, as the case may be) by 23 May 2022 to ena=ble us to transmit account balances to you (if any).We assure you that we did not reach this decision lightly. We understand th=is will mean some inconvenience for you and we apologise for this. We will =make every effort to ensure that the process of closing your account with H=SBC is as simple and straightforward as possible.If you have any questions regarding the above, kindly contact Rumman Abdull=ah at 603 20756034.Regards,On behalf of HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad.”As you can see above the customers will always of risks not being able to meet their strategic criteria;therefore the bank can be sorry anytime to close your account!! Please consider this carefully; you might meet the same fate just like me if you co-operate with this bank;If you still co-operate with this bank’ better to stop it and not to use this bank..Lets stop co-operting with this bank;especially our Malaysian Fellows and others at any other parts of the world;Please re-consider your situation if you still hold account in this bank, you might encounter the same situation anytime..lets act together and choose other banksto co-operate;lets stop together using HSBC Malaysia…I am so sure there are many other better banks in Malaysia;please go for them…Don’t risk yourself with HSBC MalaysiaThey even have Clause 14 of the terms and Conditions which allow them to cease their services for you..Please find better one..lets act together not to legitimize the banks non-friendly services for the people..lets stop using HSBC Malaysia which is renowned for unfriendly and troubled inefficient services!!!Just review it in truspilot:You will see how bad the HSBC Malaysia continue to serve....
The customer service is BAD, worst customer service experience i ever had, phone hang for 20 minutes no agent to assist, i had change to other hotline same situation no luck at all, look for online assistance but give me a virtual bot that telling me all the sh!t that I already knew. Good luck at getting new customer onboard on your sh!tty bank.
Very slow customer service in Malaysia. Have to wait half & an hour or more to speak with an agent. A few times canceled the call because it was too long & no one attended my call. The same goes for their chat. Very poor service HBSC
