Continuously received data warnings

Continuously received data warnings. No advice given on how I could stop them or what I needed to do. Tried to revise plan but could not do so as within 31 days. Went into Currys where i took out contract for 20 GB of data at time I bought phone about 2 weeks ago. Told to buy more data, bought extra 6 Gb but still got messages. If known i couldn't speak to agent I may not have taken it.
