I was a bit dubious about using Live chat to help with switching my mobile number but was very pleasantly surprised when everything was sorted in a couple of minutes. I definitely recommend using this service if you have questions about IDmobile.Will definitely use it again!
Very disappointed with their service, as a new customer, took a contract phone and sim deal with ID mobile, wanted to port my number, ended up getting frauded and reported it to them eventually after getting the right number to report the fraud cuz there’s no direct line to call them, then they decided to port my number and ended up getting cut off, no signal, cannot make or receive a text only to be told my line has been disconnected and blacklisted because the account is under fraud and that I only needed to pay £18 to end the contract with them, after taking £18 pounds on the day of direct debit they keep telling me my account is active meanwhile it hasn’t since the lay three weeks, and now carphone warehouse doesn’t wanted the phone back because it’s outside the cooling off period and they haven’t terminated the contract as I was told and they keep cutting off when insist to speak to a manager, SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! I am taking this further ID MOBILE
This is the worst phone company I have ever been with. I have just finished a two year contract with them, and for the sake of my health I wont repeat all of the issues I have had, just the final one. I started a live chat to check out the information I needed to cancel my contract and switch providers, this first live chat representative was replying in about 4 to 5 minutes for each reply, then he disconnected the chat after he had robbed me of 20 mins of my life.Similar situation for chat 2.For chat 3, it was the same, but for much, much longer. The conversation was basic, i.e., how do i cancel my contract, how do I get a pac code, do i need to give 30 days notice, and can I switch within 30 days, this conversation took one hour and 40 mins, reply times were between 5 and 8 minutes per reply. When I asked her politely if she could be a bit quicker, she said she didnt want to hurry. Its unbelievable that ID mobile can't train their staff to reply any quicker than 5 mins per reply, with answers like 'yes'. I will be staying as far away as possible from this company and I am shocked that it has over 4 stars on this site, shocked. As I've had two years of being with them and them never dealing with anything efficiently, correctly or professionally.
