Experienced a very mixed bag with CeX. Went in store to buy a HP dock. Staff were helpful. Couldn't find the power supply. Tried an alternative power supply that didn't seem to work with it so recommended not buying in fairness. Went to the CeX website and ordered the model below in spec. Arrived very quickly which I was delighted with but when I opened it, they had sent only a power supply and no dock. Contacted them, they apologised and said they would send on the dock. I asked if it would be possible to get the original dock that didn't a power supply as I now had one but was told their policies don't allow them to send incomplete product. The missing dock was sent a couple of days later. Overall, could have been a great experience but systems and policies got in the way of common sense. Only having email contact for customer care is off putting too. It just adds to any potential delays. Room for improvement!
