My first order experience was good so I decided to come back and this time I hated the experience so much. I am not sure I will be coming back. I reported that I am not able to track my package and the only response is to wait for 14 working days and if I don’t get the package then I come back. If you know the courier is not a good one then use a different service so that you keep your customers happy. I am waiting for 14 working days. If I don’t get the package then I will have to wait till it’s sorted in another way. Terrible! Meanwhile your customer service could just check to see if they can track the package for me. But instead they tell me to wait for 14 working days.
The service was great, once and while you'd get a great find at good value, this time I had to contact customer service over a item I ordered but was cancelled, received an email straight after the product was cancelled that the item was back in stock-??

Ordered several items from cex money taken from account only to say nearly a week after your item cannot be sourced don't refund immediately also bought several discs from shops always scratched and not working never check them before selling to you
I ordered the following items, gameboy micro silver, 1 3DS game and 1 PS3 game.
The gameboy came in the blue color,
The 3DS box has water damage likely from a damp wearhouse and the PS3 game was a cheaper platinum version not pictured. Please look out for this monkey paw of a online shop.
The first delivery was very fast and efficient, but there was a bit of lack of information on the following orders. The tracking numbers didn't work for a long time and there was no notification when the other games got finally dispatched.
I purchased an Original Xbox, and a few games from the Dún Laoghaire branch that was on display. After checking the item in my car after I'd already left the store, I found the controller was missing the required breakaway cable, making it non-functional. This is a violation of the company’s own policy regarding essential accessories.
When I contacted support, the following day, I was told the store indicated transparency at the point of sale, which is not true. No one mentioned the controller was incomplete or missing the cable. The staff at the time were unprofessional to say the least, and focused on the heater not working in the store, rather than the sale, i had also been purchasing a few games at the time, and received the wrong disc in the one case, likely due to this.
Management is now insisting that I return to the store to fix their mistake, and the store's staff negligence, I should not have to travel back to the store to resolve a situation caused by mislabeled stock and a lack of accountability.
I've had more problems with this store, and CeX in general, over the past 4 years, than I can even care to count, including one time, when a staff member in store was surprised that I'd wanted to sell, Corsair Vengeance DDR4 Ram, for a very low amount, so they basically nagged me over it, they wanted to then buy it off me on revolut, only after asking the manager, they weren't allowed, no surprise there.
They absolutely have failed to resolve this current issue, with the original Xbox, attempted to shift the blame onto me, giving me nothing but standard corporate dispute deflection, and FAQ GmB, which is all frankly lies, telling me that the store was fully transparent in the sale of an item that was on display, when they failed to even give me a working controller.
Can't recommend.
I ordered a gaming console for my son as his main Christmas gift, along with some games and accessories. Everything arrived on time, and we opened it to check that all items were included before wrapping it up for him. He was thrilled and eagerly awaited his uncle to set it up. However, when we tried to insert the game, it wouldn't go in, regardless of our efforts. My brother returned it to the store, where they attempted to fix it but determined it was beyond repair. Now, my child is heartbroken, and I have to wait several days for a refund while also needing to purchase another console. The staff member's response was dismissive, suggesting I simply order another online, which was not at all helpful for a disappointed child whose main gift has been taken away through no fault of his own. It’s clear that this console wasn’t properly checked before being sold, as the issue was immediately apparent. This is simply unacceptable, especially during the holiday season. I cannot recommend this service and will not be returning.
Compré una PS5 usada por 450€, y la verdad es que me parece excelente. Estaba bastante polvorienta por dentro, pero la abrí y limpié todo. Tiene algunos rasguños en la parte negra donde se conecta el cargador, pero eso no me importa, ya que la consola funciona a la perfección.
Awful experience! I've purchased several items from this place, and they all stopped functioning within about two weeks. I also returned an item that was defective and never received my refund. I would advise against visiting; the staff seems inexperienced and unprofessional.
