The ikman app has become terrible now; the previous version was much more convenient. I used to search on it very often, but now I'm looking for alternative solutions.
I placed an ad to sell my property in Colombo in November 2025. Paid total fees requested around 13,000 Rupees.I received many requests to pay extra $6000 or more to 'boost' my ad. after 2 months they have now advised my ad has expired. There is no mention of any expiry date stated when signing up for the account or making payment. I find this is a misleading and illegal way of getting people to pay again. Reporting this to relevant government authority. I am sharing this for anyone out there to know.Please use a credit card to make the payment and go through your bank and dispute it for not providing service agreed if this occurs to you.
I've been trying to place an advertisement from overseas. The service team doesn't respond. They just send a message saying to call them and I'm telling them I'm overseas, literally begging them to respond via whatsapp chat, but then they just simply ignore it. Tried calling them and then I'm on hold. What is the point if I have to waste money on an international call to clarify something they can easily respond via text or voice message on whatsapp ???? Last week I was trying to place the same advertisement and chatted with an agent through the chat option on the website portal. Once again I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get one response!!!! Terrible service.
Ikman.lk is by far the worst property-selling platform I have ever used. As someone living overseas trying to sell property, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional.First of all, their system is ridiculously outdated—every time I need to edit or upgrade my listing, I have to contact the admin like it's some ancient website from the early 2000s. Why can’t they have a simple user dashboard where sellers can manage their own ads?Secondly, the client base is extremely poor. Despite paying for promotions, the responses are minimal to non-existent. It’s clear that Ikman.lk does not attract serious buyers, making it a complete waste of time and money.If you're looking to sell property efficiently, stay far away from Ikman.lk. There are much better platforms out there that actually care about their users and provide real results. Ikman.lk is a scammy, poorly managed site that only brings headaches. Zero stars if I could!Save yourself the trouble—AVOID!
I would even give 0 star if i have it up there, not one of the worse it is the “WORST” and fraud company that Srilanka or any other country could ever have, Just a warning for people whoever is trying to pay them to post Ad through their website I’ve got robbed by them 3 days back and they’re not even responding any of my emails or calls, Please try to avoid to use IKman as much as possible Specially people living in Overseas
I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the service I received. I paid for a Top AC package expecting the visibility and benefits that were promised. However, the ad was not listed as a Top Ad, and this is not just a minor glitch—it’s a failure to deliver on what I paid for.What made the situation worse was the completely unhelpful response from your customer support team. I was told that the ad is showing as a Top Ad on their end, but that is clearly not the case. I’ve checked multiple times from different devices, and it’s absolutely not being displayed as promised.I feel like I’ve been misled and charged for a service that your platform failed to provide. This isn’t just disappointing—it feels like a scam. If you’re going to charge premium prices, then deliver a premium service. Otherwise, don’t mislead your customers with false advertising.Please look into this issue immediately, correct the ad placement, or refund the payment. I expect a proper response—not generic excuses.
They Reject without ads without any valid reasons.I published pacu fish pair 2 times but both times they reject without valid reasonstoday i posted Red Belly Pacu ad with real pictures from fish and i paid Rs 900 as listing fee but they didn't approved when i call the call center they told pacu fish not posted according to their guild lines.but they never mention fish types not posting but when i checked i found there is already ads with Pacu fish photos they have some favorable for some people very poor service they have
