Extremely disappointing experience.
1 purchased credits in December. Due to delayed responses from support and what appeared to be a system malfunction, my credits expired before the issue could be properly addressed. This situation could have been easily avoided if support had responded in a timely and responsible manner.
Instead of taking accountability, the responsibility was subtly shifted onto me. There was no meaningful effort to provide a fair resolution, despite the fact that this was clearly not caused by my inaction.
What is even more concerning is that the platform appears to operate as a layer over another service rather than having full control over its own system. If that is the case, it would explain why support seems unable to manually restore credits or properly fix account-level issues. If a company cannot independently resolve problems related to purchased credits, customers deserve to know that before paying.
The lack of transparency, slow communication, and inability to provide a concrete solution make this service unreliable.
I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious.
If something goes wrong, do not expect prompt or effective support.
ImagineArt is a very easy-to-use service, and the engines it provides are priced very reasonably, as are the credit package levels! I started out with the free tier and quickly upgraded to the Creator level, and used the service to generate images to accompany the world of a story I am working on.
Imagine.art is misleading users
Unfortunately, my experience with imagine.art has been extremely negative.
The service advertises “unlimited access”, but cancels or severely restricts the subscription the very next day after purchase. During the subscription process, the rules and terms keep changing, and what was promised at the time of payment later turns out to be invalid.
Another major issue is credits.
They are assigned late or not assigned at all, even though the subscription is active and fully paid.
The so-called “priority support” is also misleading:
emails receive no response, support requests are ignored, and there is no real customer service.
Overall, the service gives the impression that it:
misleads users with its subscription terms
fails to deliver what was promised
shows no respect for users or their money
I do not recommend this service. Please be cautious before purchasing.
I've been using ImagineArt for about 4 years and recently subscribed to the Ultimate package which gives me 16000 credits a month. I initially used the platform for image generation but became increasingly interested in animations. Over the years the platform has grown and is continually being updated and improved. New innovations feel like they are being added very regularly and often a problem that I used to have in generating a clip can be solved by their latest lighting update or change of camera angle update, etc. It's great to have everything in one place and a huge range of ai models to choose from. Some are costly in terms of credit usage but others are very reasonable.., but then, some models do a lot more than others.
Pluses - easy to navigate, intuitive, lots of different ai models to choose from for image, video, editing, voice, music. I am looking forward to the sound effects feature (which I really need) and is promised soon.
Negatives - some features can eat through your credits quickly. Can occasionally glitch but I think that, as the platform is regularly updated, that is going to happen.
Works best on a PC I find. The web based version is better, easier and has more features than the app I think.
I opted for the "Ultimate Yearly Plan" anticipating a hassle-free experience, but it has turned into a nightmare. My support ticket is being overlooked while my purchased credits are going to waste.
The Ongoing Issue:
For the second consecutive month, my monthly allocation of 16,000 credits has been mistakenly depleted after just 7 days.
December: Credits received on Dec 1st - wrongly expired on Dec 7th.
January: Credits received on Jan 1st - wrongly expired on Jan 7th.
The system is treating my yearly subscription as if it were a "7-day trial," causing my credits to expire automatically.
Immediate Help Required:
With January coming to a close, if my credits aren’t restored before the February 1st reset, I will lose an entire month of the service I paid for. Despite sending numerous emails and opening tickets, I have received no response.
I urgently need my account issue resolved and my January credits restored.
