Review Time
I ordered 4 items and they were ALL in stock when I ordered. I have only received one. I ordered June 28th, and it is now August. I have received no updates, no notices on how these products randomly ran out of stock as soon as I ordered them? That now I need to put my phone number in for them to tell me when they'll be restocked. If I order something with a promise of there being a stock of those products, what sense does it make that now I can only receive one product that in of itself took almost a whole month to arrive?
Edit 8/27:As the company replied here, 4 out of 14 items arrived yesterday. Arrived items were all expired. When I told them, they said "they were not expired when we shipped them." First time worked out great, I received my order, no problem. However, the second time I've used them, it's been problematic. I ordered on July 27, and i have not received a single item. The support is abysmal - they sit on the email until you send a followup email, and the response I received was generic "thanks for your patience, we are moving warehouses, will ship as soon as we are ready." This was at 2 weeks after the order, and I did not even know that the warehouse was being moved. According to TrustPilot reviews, they have been moving warehouses for close to 6 months. That's fine, I understand that it could take sometime. However, what I dont understand is their communication as a company. It is not that difficult to put up a banner on the website to inform customers that there will be a significant delay due to the warehouse move, and indicate how long they anticipate for shipping out the item due to the move. I'm still waiting for the support to answer back my email I sent couple of days ago about expected timeline on the shipping - if they don't reply back by next week, I will start a charge back on my cc. I definitely no longer recommend this business.
I've ordered from Japan Candy Store a few times now, treats always came in great condition, nothing broken or anything. I also got this cute little thank you card and standee toy who I love and now sits in my room with my tea set ^_^ Ive only had to talk to customer service once and they were super nice and supportive, I totally recommend them!
