I bought a Jekyll and Hide A5 leather journal cover. Delivery was very swift. I have a few leather refillable notebooks now, but the quality of this one is incredible. Its thick, firm, sturdy, smooth and well polished. Very high quality. It will last forever. Any A5 notebook fits into it, and gives a secure writing surface to write on as well as protecting and beautifying your notebook. The simple elastic closure strap is perfect. It has a really useful, unobtrusive pocket on the back for slipping items into, like a passport or pen. I was put off by the price to begin with, but it is worth it for what quality you get. This is my favourite, best made notebook.
I can't say whether the product is good because I haven't received it yet. I have paid for the backpack and it has been shipped. The problem is that the goods are actually ready for delivery, but customs demand an invoice. Jek & Hid are not interested, no response to my inquiries. What is so difficult about sending an invoice. Absolutely poor customer service, the main thing is that the money is there. I will certainly never buy from this store again.
This is my second Jekyll and Hyde briefcase. My first, purchased in 2016, was stolen in late 2024. Despite being eight years old, it was still in perfect condition and much loved. So when it came to replacing it, I had no hesitation in ordering a new medium briefcase in tobacco.What can I say? It’s a beautifully crafted item, made from high-quality leather that feels like it will last forever. The tobacco color is rich and deep and I am sure it will age well.Everything about this briefcase speaks of durability and craftsmanship—built to last a lifetime.
