Review Time
Placed an order on 6/24/20 - (17 months ago) - and I remember using a free shipping code from RetailMeNot but when I checked out I was charged shipping anyway. I remember thinking it wasn't worth my time to call the company and complain. I wish I had! With so many debit card transactions per month I rarely look at small charges. Tonight I happen to see one hit with this company's name. That Free Shipping coupon was really a sign up for a rewards program - and any time I would have ordered from them I would have to submit my bill as a claim for how much I paid in shipping. So #1 - I never got my free shipping on that ONE order I placed with them on 6/24/2020. #2 - I'm the idiot that didn't see I have paid them $250 over the past 17 months for NOTHING. Their clothing was awful so I have their emails go to my delete bin and I would never order from them again. What a racket! I miss the original "Catherine's" brick and mortar stores. Their clothing was great - this Jessica London clothing is AWFUL. I COULD HAVE canceled within 30 days they told me. But I never got any email or anything at all that said I had registered for a rewards program and had 30 days to cancel. I never dump emails - I have NOTHING from them between 6/24/2020 and 6/10/2021. :(
I will never order from this company again! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! I placed an order and two hours later received a catalog with the same items for 50% off. I called immediately to see if I could apply the sale price to my order and was told "No". I then asked if I could cancel the order, which had not shipped yet. I was told "I am sorry, but you cannot cancel an order that is in process." I asked why I could not cancel an order that hadn't shipped yet and the same line was repeated back to me like a recording. I talked to 3 different people, and not one of them was willing to help me. I was just told I could return the items (at my cost) if I wanted. Avoid the Full Beauty catalog family at all costs!
Every time I get mail, there is a catalog from Jessica London. When I call to place an order, the items are always out of stock. Then the order taker tries to talk over you and fast talk you into buying something else you didn't ask for. Then comes the insincere apology, obviously read from a script. So phoney and pathetic. Half the time you cannot understand what the person is saying because it's some foreigner on the phone talking 100 mph. This company sucks. I don't know where they are getting their merchandise from. Apparantly, it's not here, because they never have anything in stock. They can't blame it on the covid situation because I've repeatedly had this same problem prior to the covid pandemic.
Just placed my first order with Jessica London. Opened the card too. The clothing looked so cute so I placed a small $240 order to check the quality. So my order came in wrong and incomplete. Ok no biggie I just call customer service and we will get it fixed right up. Nope. My call was taken by a snarky brat named Samantha who just cost the company the whole order because I am shipping it all back. She was soooo nasty that I am not even gonna keep what I liked. And then their answer to fixing my problem was charging me again for the item that was wrong and sending it again and not recrediting my account for the shirt I already got charged for and didn't receive until they got the wrong merch back...What????
I ordered these Sandals to wear for a special occasion and ordered them 10 in advice… well I’ll not have the shoes to wear nor have the shoes made it to me… yet! I’m am very very disappointed and will probably not ordered from Jessica London again.. I depended on them and have been very much let down
If you need your items in a reasonable amount of time, do not order from this company. Takes weeks for them to ship your order! Refund for returned items also takes weeks. I have been on hold on the telephone for 30 minutes and still holding trying to inquire about my refund. This was my first time ordering and needless to say, it will be my last.
Well the title for this review speaks for it self the frist part is there shipping service it take far tolong and when you question it there customer service is rude and make you feel like you are at fault for there mistake and then they hold up future order because you complained and held the previous payment for the previous order because there shipping is a load of crap.Now this company is part of a family of stores and my wife has dealt with the other and had no problem so why is this company so bad?Now i see from otjer reviews that there is a history with the problem so i think the CEO might want to look into this problem and possible sack there customer service staff and start over with a better quality of person and a better training program.
