I returned two items from Jessica London on 10/31/2022. I have sent 6 feedbacks to them inquiring about my refund. As of today 11/14/2022, I have not received my refund. This company is a FRAUD. THEY WANT THE CONSUMER TO BUY FROM THEIR COMPANY, but when there is an issue, they give you the run-around and you never receive your refund or merchandise. Never again, learn my lesson.
Do not buy. I purchased something that was in stock and it said if I paid for “super fast delivery” I would have it in 2 days. Well I have an event, if it’s not fitting I was hoping to get it altered. I talked to 4 customer service reps. I have not received it. They told me it takes 2-3 days to process.I asked them what “processing” mean. They told me it means my order is in process. I asked again what does that mean. They closed the chat on me. Hung up on me. The damn thing is out of stock. Tell me the truth. Poor customer service. I’m canceling my order.
If you're looking for a good shopping experience, this is not it. I ordered items for vacation, and paid extra for expedited 2-3 day shipping. It arrived almost 6 days later, when I had already left on my trip. After COUNTLESS attempts to resolve this via customer chat, it went nowhere. All I asked for was a refund of the shipping cost, but was told repeatedly "we did everything right, you are wrong". It's frustrating. When you order an item and a date is given to you, that's a guarantee. Stick to it, and if things go wrong, own up to them. Don't make your customers feel cheated. Being transparent about costs is important in ecommerce. The website overwhelms you with deals on deals on deals - and purposely omits any mention of fees. "Free returns" really just means store credit, anything else is $10.99. Shipping is never really free. Be more transparent about all these charges, it's vital. There are better shops out there, this is not one of them.
If I could give them a 0, I would, my 93 yr old mother order 4 pairs of shoes from this company, she received them, tried on 2 pairs, and sent all 4 pairs back immediately ( the shoes were stuff and hard) she also sent 34.00 to cover any s&h charges. That next month she received a full statement for the shoes plus interest charges, she contacted the company to see if the received the returned shoes, they did, they offered to send her a check for 176.00 instead of removing the cost for the returned shoes ( 50x4) 200x dollars was the cost for the shoes...here we are some 6 months later, this problem is not resolved, she just received this 176.00 check that will be sent back, they want your interest and late fee to mount up, while the use some unscrupulous method to scam people out of money.DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCANDALOUS PEOPLE
Purchase an item and returned it because I did not like the fit. My phone xpectation was that my credit card would be credited only to find out that a gift card was given instead. When I requested to have the gift card canceled and the credit placed on my account I was told it would cost me 10.95$ from the credit that was minus the shipping cost. So I would get back half of what I paid for the item. So after going back and forth with the rep she told me she would forfeit the 10.95$ fee.. well when I looked at my statement it reflected the fee was not forfeited. I have cut up this card and will never order for Jessica London Again. Very dissatisfied with the service.
I ordered 10 sleeveless nightgowns in different sizes to prepare for a week in the hospital soon. I was charge over $27 for shipping!! I nearly choked but was in a time pinch and paid it. When going through their website to return 6 of those items, something new appeared called "Happy Returns" It claimed if you use that service they will refund you immediately, you don't have to pack it up, and you drop off at nearest Fedex. I thought, what the heck, I'll try it. After the Fedex man scanned the return in the store, I asked for a receipt to prove I had dropped it off. He said they would send me a receipt IMMEDIATELY and to check my phone. I waited 15 min to get that email & had to leave for an appt. I figured it's like an Amazon return at Wholefoods, where they scan the product and you get an email immediately. I never received that email so I made phone calls to Jessica London, messaged them through their website, and spoke through their chat feature & their agent said I should call Fedex, it was their problem. Thank goodness I took a pic of the items at the Fedex counter & the man who scanned the return. I had sent those pics to JL and Happy Returns. 3 days later I get an email acknowleding the return. I don't think I would have if not for the pictures I had taken to prove it & would use to contest this on my credit card if they failed to refund me. They charged me the same price to use Happy Returns as they did for the postage paid label they provided by USPS! I will never use Happy Returns again. The post office will give you a receipt to prove you dropped off the package. Using Happy Returns, all the liability is on you if the package is lost & you're paying the same price as the USPS provided label. Jessica London is making money off Happy Returns. You'd think for the price they charge for shipping that Happy Returns would at least be free like Amazon returns, are at the least, at a much reduced cost over the price of USPS. The refund is NOT immediate either, as they claimed. So, it's BUYER BEWARE. Know you are paying the same to return an item whether using the USPS or Happy Returns, but you have all the liability using Happy Returns. I will not SHOP here anymore simply because their shipping is outrageous compared to other stores I shop at online. I suggest you check out Ullapopken.com where they ship for $9.95 no matter how much you spend and that is coming all the way from Germany and it always gets here in 3 days!! And their return shipping price is lower, too. Most other places I shop online are cheaper for shipping than all FULL BEAUTY store affliliates. bye bye full beauty!
Worst customer service ever. Comenity Bank too. That's who issues the cards for Jessica London. If I could give this zero stars I would. they have charged me for a club membership for $20.71, although I have not used the card for over a year! Then they tacked on late fees adding up to a total of $85.00. I just now paid the whole thing and closed the account. Do yourselves a favor and DONT buy anything from them!
Awesome gold is the swimsuit I ordered. crap with sleeves is what I got! Then. They send me a return label and when they get the wrong suit they send me back I'll get a refund. And in the meantime I can reorder the suit in a smaller size because that one was sold out (guess that's why they thought I wanted SLEEVES?) but instead of 50% off like I got on the first one all they can offer me is 20% and free express shipping. No ma'am. That doesn't work! I argue and finally get another rep that can do 50% and express shipping. Now it's a week and a day later and I still don't have my EXPRESS SHIPPED ITEM!
