Poor- quality merchandise combined with bait- and- switch tactics and extraordinarily poor customer service means that I will never purchase from them again.While trying to order a dress on sale, and enter the code for an extra 40 percent off plus free shipping, instead, the order processed. I immediately asked, via their customer service portal, to cancel. No one responded for 48 hours. When they did, they claimed that they could not cancel my order because it had already shipped. Four further communications about this matter have gone unanswered, and they did indeed charge me the full, non- sale amount, as seen on my bank statement.Really horrible way of doing business. Do you think that your customers won't notice when you deal with them dishonestly?
I placed an order for 2 pairs of shoes on 4/20/2023. According to the phone bot the ordered was shipped on 4/24/2023. There is no tracking number so a contacted customer service. I was informed that this was a situation where a shipping label was created and the package never left the dock and was not picked up by the carrier. She then went on to say that I had to wait until 5/15/2023 before the my Jessica London Credit card would be credited for the purchase. My question to her was why? If you know the package never left your dock why are you not processing a credit immediately? When this credit is processed I will be closing both Jessica London and Woman Within credit cards. Should I want to order anything I will use my Amex. If they had given Amex that foolish answer the purchase price would have been instantly charged back to them. No more awful experiences for me.
Items in the catalogs are not available.They won't let you add the rewards to your purchase although the item has not shipped. I didn't know I had rewards available.Phone representative are pushy to get you to buy other items after you declined additional items.System don't update timely. My didn't update to acknowledge a gift card added for two days.
ALL AFFILITATES including ROMANS, Ellos, Catherines, Woman within, onstop plus, Brylane home, kingsize, etc are HORRIBLE. Warehouse is a mess and wrong items constantly sent. They charge you AGAIN to replace a wrong item or they won't ship until they get the time back. CS Supervisor said it's our policy, and you can chose to do business with someone else!!! take her advise do not shop here!!!
I recently purchased a skirt from Jessica London from the Amazon website. This product arrived yesterday and has inferior (read cheap) material. The item pictured on the website did in no way resemble what I received. So, I made arrangements for a return. I get instructions from Jessica London which states if I use their return label, they will DEDUCT $9.99 from the credit owed me. What is this about? Will NEVER purchase another item from this company and it's affiliates.
This company duplicated my order that I placed for Christmas, even though it clearly shows the wrong address and it didn’t ship they still refused to cancel the order. They are holding the duplicate order that is meant to go to NJ and refusing to correct their mistake!! Never again! Teach your employees better manners!
Ordered boots Dec 17. No UPS tracking # available. Today, 12-21 I received email from Jessica London that said item on back-order & not available until Jan 2023. Website does not have info about cancellations, so I called customer service. They said item was in process and disregard email. I asked for a current UPS tracking # or delivery date, they were not able to provide either. I asked for them to cancel the order since the shipper had not picked up the item. Told me they could not do that, but I could return the item after I received it. So here it is, Dec 20th and I have no Christmas present for my daughter!
I ordered a Christmas gift that arrived today 12/14. JL sent the wrong item when I called to have the item I ordered shipped I was told if I wanted it by Christmas I would have to pay for expedited shipping. I explained that that's JL mistake and they should pay that fee. I ordered that item in a timely matter but received the wrong item. Still JL refused to pay the fee for my item to arrive before Christmas. I will never shop here again. I will also advise no one to shop with Jessica London.
I ordered a pair of burgundy boots for my upcoming trip. Received WORN boots in beat up box with no tissue paper. Immediately called customer service. Now, since is their error you would think they could rush me another pair in time for my trip. But no. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN FROM THIS STORE!!!!!! Now, I have to scramble to find some other boots for my trip.
