Review Time
I saw the advert for Journee on Facebook and decided to take the plunge. We had great fun trying to figure out the clues. I had guessed the country but not the locations that we visited. The hotel in our second location was a total dream! (The first guest house was very nice but we had to listen to the town clock bong repeated every hour all night.) I would definitely recommend Journee but personally I wouldn’t do it again only because I’m a control freak. My husband thought it was hilarious that I didn’t know what was going on!
My husband and I travel....a lot. I have been dubbed "itinerary queen" as I will typically do tons of research and plan everything down to the minute so as not to miss anything at whatever location we are traveling to. With Journee, I was super excited to give myself a break and boy, am I glad I did. Not only did they book a destination that we fell in love with, but one that I had never given much thought to travel to. They booked us different excursions and activities with plenty of time for us to find our own things to do. We absolutely recommend Journee and truly have nothing negative to say. They were extremely responsive via WhatsApp both before and during the trip. We already have some more trips booked this year and into next, but will 100% do another Journee trip every other year, at least. Thank you so much for such a special trip, Journee!
Our trip was probably one of the best of our lives. Every aspect of it was so well thought out, and Journee make a real effort to make the period before your trip feels just as exciting as when you're on it. Everyone we knew wanted an update about our clues, where we were going, and what we were going to do on our holiday. The actual trip went to well, and it seemed like everything was planned out on a way you'd actually do it - it was thoughtful and deliberate, which I really appreciate. The accommodation we had was also excellent, which I was really grateful for. I'd recommend Journee to anyone, it was such a brilliant experience from booking to coming home.
Our Journee experience was bought for us by our (grown-up) children. Fantastic concept and they absolutely delivered. Two tours organised for us, using knowledgeable local guides - superb. Great staff at Journee answered all our queries promptly - highly recommend !!!
Unbelievable! First time traveling internationally and will definitely do it again very soon. Everything was super easy to set up and we were able to relax once we arrived in Athens. Never thought I’d be able to just go with the flow in a foreign country, but Journey’s planning and experience made the trip as stress free as possible. Took me less work and stress than a weekend trip. Felt like we got to see all the major local gems without wasting time and money on mediocre experiences. Added my son to the journey for very reasonable price. I can’t imagine finding flights and lodging for the price of the entire trip Journee planned. Felt so safe and comfortable I’d even return for a solo trip planned through them. Thanks for an amazing experience and opening my eyes to international travel.
This was my 2nd trip with Journee and I will be booking for a 3rd. It’s so well planned, with thoughtful personal touches even though I feel the company are expanding more, they still seem focused on the details. We had issues with our flights prior to going as the airline cancelled them from our chosen airport but this was sorted quickly with limited hassle.
