Journee are outstanding - they think of every detail and seem to absolutely understand who we are and what we want from a holiday just with a questionnaire! Their choice of destination on both our first and second occasion was amazing and we had unforgettable holidays. Everything is so easy and hassle free. Will definitely be using Journee again. Initially I saw an ad on Instagram. I thought I’d look into Journee. All I saw were positive reviews which made me think it was too good to be true until I gave in and trusted the process. It didn’t take much convincing after that! I did the questionnaire and received my proposal! This trip was a graduation present to myself and I figured I start all of my “Journees” at the same time! I’ve traveled around the U.S. and parts of Europe and Asia before and with that I think that gave me comfort in a mystery trip.Journee took care of booking the accommodations, activities, and flights! It was incredible to not have to think about the stressful parts of a vacation. Time and money are deciding factors for many people. Journee will ask you for your budget and work within your means. To me, it was difficult to even put a price on this opportunity. I had an 8 day trip; it was just the right amount of time to experience my destination and short enough to fit everything I needed in a carry on! I booked this vacation as a female solo traveler. I felt safe and was able to communicate with Journee, my friends and family throughout the entire trip. I had asked Journee a few questions about data options while abroad (they told me I needed a passport!). Prior to, during, and after, Journee was responsive and resourceful. The activities that were booked were booked through companies that reflected the same communication. The companies even asked contacted me prior to confirm pick up times! It’s so simple but so very appreciated and reassuring. I knew I was taken care of. The instructions were so well communicated, thoroughly researched. I met other Journee travelers during some of my activities as well. We all had different reasons for booking, I needed a change of pace and selfish getaway, another one is a world traveler and wanted to try something new, another one needed a getaway to forget about reality, a couple I met were on their honeymoon and opened their package at their wedding reception. Ultimately, we all wanted something new. We all would book it again. I can speak for myself when I say I got way more out of this trip than what I was expecting.Ya know that feeling when you get done from vacation and you just can’t wait to get home to “normal”? I didn’t get that. I felt refreshed. Journee allowed for me to let go, relax, and the only thing I had to worry about was to decide where to go to dinner…and Journee already gave me a list of restaurants to try😂 I didn’t have to think very hard about that either! I went to Azores, Portugal for 8 days, a place I’ve never even heard before. It turned out to be a dream come true. I met incredible people along the way including Journee travelers, other solo travelers, and locals. I learned about the culture, farming, religion, food, lifestyle. I encourage everyone to at least look into it. It takes 10 min to fill out the questionnaire. After that, decide if you want to take the leap of faith. It was worth it to me.
Just do it! Every detail of this trip was planned perfectly. The clues kept me guessing and our final destination was Slovenia. This was not a country. I would have chosen and I’m so glad they chose it for me. Best trip ever. Looking forward to my next trip that I’ll be booking within the next month or so. I’m a total control freak and they did a better job than I could’ve done. Be spontaneous. Life is short.
This was our second Journee experience, we went away for my wife's 60th surprize. We got back Sunday and have started to plan our next already. I think that says it all. We can't rate them high enough. From booking to receiving clues, to the flight and transfer, the hotels they use are always first class and friendly and well located. The excursions have always been well planned and enjoyable. You learn/experience things you normally would over look while having lots of fun. I have to say Journee's communication with you is also first class throughout the whole trip. We would thoroughly recommend and suggest you give them a try.
We loved our Journee trip! As someone who normally plans everything when we vacation, it was definitely out of my comfort zone to hand off planning to strangers. However, we had a wonderful time. The excursions were fantastic, it was a great mix of planned activities and free time on our own, and a wonderful city to explore. We would definitely book another trip with Journee!
I don’t think it’s possible to put into work how much i enjoyed my Journee trip! I had never been out of the country before and was struggling to decide on a location and to decide what exactly I wanted to do! Journee’s proposal sounded absolutely amazing and the trip itself was even better than I ever could have expected. I will without a doubt use Journee again! They made my international travel dreams come true! I’m officially hooked!
The whole trip experience was phenomenal. I wouldn't have picked my destination (mostly because I hadn't heard much about it) but it fit me perfectly! The activities planned for me were right up my alley and the fact that I didn't have to plan anything was AMAZING. I'm an avid planner but Journee's quiz was so thorough that I felt comfortable actually booking with them. The clues helped build excitement - for me and everyone else following along my journey! I met a couple on one of my planned tours and I convinced them to book a trip just by telling them my experience. I would absolutely do it again!
I recently returned from my first Journee trip and it definitely will not be my last. As a solo female traveler, I felt 100% safe during every aspect of the experience. The destination was amazing and all the excursions were perfect. I loved not having to plan the trip and felt that the unknown just added to the excitement and anticipation. Well done Journee!
