The roll out was seamless, the engineers were great and very informative. They even tidied up some cabling that we had in the office. Training was thorough and the phones are a great improvement!! Any time I’ve had a question or needed support, they’ve always been at the end of the phone, ready to sort things quickly and properly.What really stands out is how easy they make everything. AVOID AVOID AVOID If I could give a minus star I WOULD!
I was sold a financial package by K5 Communications for equipment that turned out to be completely unfit for purpose. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the technical issues with K5, they ignored all correspondence.
To make matters worse, I discovered that K5 had entered me into a secondary financial agreement with Grenke Ltd without providing clear transparency on how these two contracts were linked. When the equipment failed and I was forced to cancel, Grenke’s response was appalling.
Instead of investigating a clear case of mis-selling or technical failure, Grenke refused to listen to our concerns. Their only mode of "customer service" was to immediately jump to threats of debt collection and court proceedings. They have shown zero interest in the fact that the product they are financing is useless.
This is an unprofessional, predatory way to treat a client. If you value your business's financial health and your own sanity, stay far away from K5 Communications and Grenke.

A Warning to Business Owners: K5 Communications & Grenke LeasingI’m sharing this to help other business owners avoid the situation we’ve found ourselves in.When we joined K5 Communications, the owner of the company assured us they would handle the cancellation of our previous provider and manage the crossover. This turned out to be untrue — we were forced to arrange this ourselves. We were also told that any cancellation fees would be covered by K5; this never happened.K5 installed the internet service, and for the first six months everything appeared to work extremely well. However, the service then suddenly stopped functioning. We later discovered that K5 had been relying on connectivity from our previous provider. Once that provider disconnected us, the service collapsed entirely. From that point onward, we were unable to achieve speeds higher than 10 Mbps, rendering the system effectively unusable for our business.Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue, K5 Communications became completely unresponsive.The situation was compounded by their finance partner, Grenke Ltd. A secondary agreement lacked transparency around how it related to the hardware and service being supplied. When the equipment and service failed, Grenke did not investigate whether the product had been mis-sold or was fit for purpose — instead, they moved directly to debt collection threats.In our experience, this arrangement appears to function as follows:K5 supplies the equipment and service, while Grenke enforces the finance agreement, regardless of performance or suitability.Takeaway: If transparency, accountability, and fair treatment matter to you, proceed with extreme caution — or steer clear of both companies altogether.
Good to see people are now realising what this company do I’m paying more than double for a phone system than I was previously I’m tied into a contract with Grenelk Leasing who obviously are linked with K5 charging obscene amount for leasing the telephone system and the K5 bill you for the calls you cannot get hold of anyone to talk to and they just tell lie after lie ! Avoid at all costs
Samantha the owner can't be trusted, Avoid this business would be my advice but don't just take my advice, go ahead and read all the other bad reviews. K5 has lost me money by my equipment not working, I am also owed money by them which they still haven't paid, their staff don't seem bothered either. Rumors are they are in trouble also and can't seem to keep their staff which is why lots of issues are not getting resolved. As a business I need a stable company that I can rely on and K5 is not it. Be careful other businesses, you don't want to end up loosing money like we have.
Initially we had a fantastic experience when signing up with K5 in the summer, and overall the system works very well how however since joining them it has become impossible to speak with anyone regarding anything to do with our account, everything has to be done via email which either takes 2/4 days on average for a response assuming they reply which is becoming less frequent.They “bought” us out of our old provider by paying our early termination fees, however 4 months in and they have yet to do that while taking money from us monthly to “cover” that cost. Our old provider is now chasing us for payment and threatening legal action, while they keep promising to make.We have also received a notification from their direct debit provider informing us the payment they intend to take in the next couple of days is significantly greater than amount on the bill with no explanation and no response from them by phone or email it’s impossible to work out if this is intentional or a mistake.I would avoid this company at all costs which is a shame as their product works well.
