The DHL was very unprofessional

The DHL was very unprofessional, they took my package to the wrong country, than back to Germany, than to my country. I took them 17 days to deliver my package. I was furious.My Kapten and Son Banff Sandstone backpack is cool, I didn't expect it to be that beautiful, based on the photos. The quality is high. I am very satisfied with it, but the delivery procedure by DHL was a pain.

My order was delayed. But what a surprise…. Got a beautiful present to make it up! Very happy with the Habo all black!!!

Excellent customer service

I made my first purchase from Kapten & Son this month after seeing a lot of nice merchandise around Amsterdam. They looked great and water repellent which is important because I take my work laptop and other electronics that might get wet, so I decided to get it.I was super excited about it, but unfortunately there mail delivery took longer than expected and I think that was the mail services fault not the company. I received my order 10 days after my order date and received an apology email from the company with a small discount of my next purchase. Unbeknownst to me because I stopped checking my email after my order arrived, Kapten & Son had sent me a gift as a form of apology as well. I received the gift and what a sweet surprise it was! I had no idea why I received such a cute gift and do I went to check my email. That's when I realized they had sent it as a gift!This is an amazing and super sweet way to take care of your customers. I really appreciate such a kind gesture and it really makes my first experience with them very memorable. Thank you very much for the gift and especially for how you kept me informed the whole time, and how you and above and beyond to make your customer feel great when things hasn't gone as expected with delivery. That was out of your control yet you still decided to go the extra mile. Excellent communication and customer service!

Please improve your tracking delivery Kapten

I contacted Kapten & Son customer service to understand where my stuff was as I hadn’t received it in the given time and it was said to arrive with the French company La Poste. It turned out that my stuff had in fact be shipped with DHL which neither me nor the customer service were aware. For such a situation I would have normally rated 2 stars.However, Kapten & Son sent me a gift to apologise for the delay. Without me asking for it. This makes me review my star rating. In the end: I received my stuff. I’m satisfied with both the product I ordered and the gift. Would I order again in the future ? Surely yes. But crossing fingers that this time I will have a much better shipping experience.

Never ordering anything if the logistic partner is postNL

This is the third time I ordered this bag via different websites and postNL refuse to drop it the address or the postNL punt that I ask them to. I picked up the package from a different PostNL punt and I did not ask them to be delivered to there. Last three times the same and again for the 4th time after holding the parcel for weeks and having many many calls with postNL and kapton& son to makesure it’s delivered to the right address and still they delivered it to the place they wish to deliver. PostNL is really ruining this online orders. I know for sure next time I’m not ordering anything I’d know that the logistic partner is postNL. Klantenservice people are also very rude and refuse to help out. It a waste of my time and energy calling them the last two weeks to make sure this is coming to the right address and still ended up somewhere else…
