Communicative information kept me informed each step of the relocation, they came when they said they would come, both pick up crew and delivery crew were bright happy and helpful but most of all respectful of myself and my belongings. It was raining when my goods were delivered and they took extra care, no dirty marks or rain damage.
The Kent team were amazing from start to finish for the movement of our stuff from Darwin to Brisbane. They were friendly, helpful & professional at both Darwin & Brisbane. The guys that did the delivery were wonderful too & went out of their way to make it easy for us. Really impressed. They made it so easy throughout the whole process. Thank you Kent!
One star is for the great service promoting themselves and Second star for the girl who helped organise the job. For a few items of furniture I felt it was very expensive, no white goods etc but to be slugged another hr at the end was very disappointing and just plain wrong!!! Items most down stairs already except two man lift items these two fellows didn’t work well together, they were very slow and not at all coordinated . First job for the day , late and complaining of heat. I’ve moved 10 times 8 were 4 bedroom full house moves this one was a few items. The worst and most expensive for what it was! Never hire Kent’s at an hrly rate . Lesson learnt! Oh and one guy didn’t speak English and the interpreter wasn’t much better. Really difficult trying to talk to these guys.When complaining receptionist idea of how much I had was way off target. Plus they started charging me when they were still out on the road outside my building backing in. I’ve got the photo with time to prove it ! Said I’d get a refund and a call back… still waiting!
My move was from Darwin to Canberra and I was informed that it will take 3 weeks from uplift and that was a major reason why I went with Kent when other companies informed me that it would take 4 weeks. My uplift was 24 July and I received my container on 1 September. I was told arrival of 16 August. I received no correspondence over this period and I would call every 2-3 days for communication and send emails. I would always have someone say they would call me back and they are not sure where the container is. Towards the end of August I called again and someone told me that it has arrived in Canberra and they would call me back to arrange delivery however no call back. I called again in 2 days and was told by someone else that the container has arrived in Melbourne and delivery is scheduled for 5 September and once I told them how long I have been waiting and the miscommunication, they told me they will fast-track the delivery to the 1st of September and offer me a payment of $200 for my inconvenience. Once the delivery was completed, there was damage to numerous furniture items and missing a box of personal items. Company is unprofessional and no communication throughout the process. I regret going with Kent and advise people to find alternative options as this company does not deliver what they promise.
The journey started with the Sales Consultants (Shireen) who came to our old house and patiently checked all the items and gave us the quote and explained well about the company. She gave us the confident to engage them. The admin office staff emailed and communicated clear enough on the procedures.All are paperworks are done very professional and clear workflow.On the day of the move, the movers (Felipe and John) knows what exactly they are doing, the wrapped the furnitures carefully, carried out and in to the new place properly. They were very friendly and polite and very respectful. They placed all the items as we wanted.Overall, entire team have good system to manage the moving process.Strongly recommend Kent Removal & Storage to everyone
