From the time Darren came into our home in Melbourne to survey, to the time our goods were delivered in Townsville - our experience was nothing but wonderful. Customer service was great and consistent. The Melbourne crew who came and loaded two containers from difficult access, freezing cold and wet conditions really went above and beyond and the Townsville crew who delivered and unloaded also were super helpful and professional. No damages, no missing items - everything was smooth. Worth the money spent for our peace of mind. Have used them again locally and highly recommend.
Everything from start to finish was handled professionally. The sales and estimate call, the punctuality, the care taken and protection of my personal belongings. Everything that was promised, was delivered. I would absolutely recommend Kent to all family and friends. Thank you.
Team recently moved my Dad from Sydney to Hunter Valley NSW. The crew did a great job is managing stress levels on the day showing the expertise by pulling everything apart and putting it back together again. They were upbeat and kept the day fun. We trusted Kent to hold everything overnight safely with the next day delivery. At delivery, everything was delivered in perfect condition. We were happy with the service and we didnt get stuck with any hidden costs at the end. A+++
Avoid Kent removals as you end up doing all the work. The drivers didn’t arrive on the scheduled time and I had to dismantle the bed myself! They charged me an extra $500 for the delivery, and also damaged an aircon unit. Then they make you go away and get a bunch of quotes for a replacement. That should be their job! I’m pretty sure a PS5 is missing too (although I’m still unboxing).
I chose Kent for an interstate move because I thought they were a reputable company. Unfortunately, they provided the worst service I have ever received from a removalist, adding needlessly to the stress and expense of the move. The removalists (from the Newcastle NSW branch of Kent) were distressingly careless with my furniture and possessions and many pieces were broken or otherwise damaged. They left food litter and cigarette butts dropped where they ate and smoked, and I was left to clean it up. In trying to load a ride-on mower they used a dangerously inadequate ramp which I warned them was not safe and, predictably, the ramp collapsed, damaging my mower. It could not be started after that and had to be left behind, which meant I had to arrange separate transport at a substantial addition al cost. On leaving my property Kent drove their truck into our gate post and hit a beautiful and very old cedar tree, shearing off a large branch - the tree may not recover, and the gate was wrecked. I emailed to complain about the service I received but have received no response at all. Unprofessional, careless, and incompetent. Do not use them.
Good communication, on time and delivered as promised. It took more than 4 months for shipping 20ft container from Melbourne to Krakow, Poland but it was worth to hire Kent Removals for the job. Most of my belongings I packed my self, but I was pleasantly surprised to noticed that some of those items has been professionally repacked by Kent in Melbourne. That saved them from the damage. Packing for such a long voyage is very important so do it yourself or hire professionals you can trust. Kent use othe agents to handle the shipment once it leaves Australia, and Santa Fe they used were very helpful in delivering the container and clearing customs in Gdynia Poland. I cannot recommend Kent Relocations due to their unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and failure to uphold their contractual obligations. They do not respond to correspondence and do not fulfil their obligations. We received goods belonging to other clients and did not get all our boxes. It is more than six months now after the delivery date and the matter has still not been resolved. They even came to pick up the other customers property but did not return our missing boxes or made any effort to resolve the matter. Their handling of our move has been a deeply frustrating experience. I hope others will take note of this review before engaging their services. RP # 1218088
Moving out is always extremely stressful, but Kent's crew did such an amazing job to help pack and load my container, that I was relaxed. I had most of my stuff go into storage, while others moved to my new home. They crew were polite and helpful, and accommodated any request I made. Thank you Kent for making my move easy
Vince and Gabriel were great on the day - on time, careful and worked the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble. Office side of things was mostly efficient and easy. Kent is more expensive than a lot of out fits but I'm glad I went with them.
