Stay Away from Ketogoapp

I have been diligently attempting to cancel my subscription to Ketogo.app (which isn't actually an app but rather a website) for 6 days straight. If anyone has figured out the magic formula for reaching an actual human being to assist in cancelling the account, I am all ears. In the meantime, I'm sharing/reporting everywhere I can think of to: STAY AWAY!

Just another money grabbing app

Avoid this American App and their website, they are a scam. Website is deceptive and before you know it they are taking more and more money from your bank account. Worst customer support I’ve ever encountered and take zero responsibility, putting it back on its customers. They never give refunds and will state that very clearly even though the app was hard for me to navigate and understand. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

No transparency! Scam!

Wishing I'd read these reviews before purchasing what I was told would be $17 for a meal plan - have just checked my bank acct and already over $60 has been deducted in two different amounts. While the meal plans look quite good, this is definitely a scam! From reading others reviews, I'm really worried they're going to continue taking $ even if I try to cancel. Will likely have to cancel credit card to escape them!

Beware this company is a scam and takes unauthorised payments. No customer service and contacted online support via email reporting my concerns and within a minute received a reply informing my subscription was cancelled . The company continues to deduct funds from PayPal. PayPal will not take action . Beware be warned

I am still being charged £19.60 every month I have contacted my bank but they warned me that this company may use a different number and they still continue to take my money, it’s a scam and need reporting, NEVER get this app.

I wanted only a subscription for a…

I wanted only a subscription for a basic weight loss plan,$33Usd for 6 months, but they charged me for one more: a shopping list subscription service for $24.95Usd per month. When you go along with the application, they offer many gifts, but in the end, they are chargeable. It's what happened with this shopping list, which I don't agree to pay for, because it's a waste of money. My mistake was only to push the button "continue" in the app. Checking my bank account, I saw a charge for more money than I had agreed to, and I tried to cancel it. Additionally, cancelling it is very annoying and challenging to do. Nothing is clear with them. I didn't know that I had a limited time(five days for non-Europeans) for cancellation, but luckily, I was in that frame of time. And after all this, they refuse to refund my money. Please get in touch with KATE from KetoGo if you want to verify my story.My conclusion is that you, consumer, should not trust this company/application or, at the very least, check your bank account when working with them.

Stay Away From This APP

Within 5 hours of registering for this service and having $100 debited from my account in 3 amounts, I realised my mistake and contacted them explaining the situation. It was an honest mistake on my part. Their response was to send me their terms and conditions multiple times and decline the request for a refund. I have taken this up with my bank. I understand that businesses need and should have terms & conditions, but occasionally there will be a situation that is a sincere and honest mistake. Not allowing for that and showing zero compassion if such poor form. There are loads of decent operators & APPs out there. Stay away from this bunch!

I understood I was only paying for one…

I understood I was only paying for one payment for one 3 month period,then I discover it's being taken out every 3 months. I haven't even used because of circumstances with my health,so it's literally cost me hundreds of dollars for nothing. I went to my bank to stop payments and was told I needed to close the account, which I did but I find today they have taken out more money which apparently they can as a last payment. I'm livid as I was told they wouldn't be able to take anymore out. The law needs to change on this, it's daylight robbery.
